Best Keyboard Ever
This was my first optical keyboard and I’ll never go back. I went through the reviews here on Amazon and can say I have experienced NONE of the obvious defects some have reported. Every product has the occasional lemon and I guess this keyboard is no exception. My lighting works flawlessly, all keys are smooth- depressing and releasing without error EVERY time in all games from RTS’s to FPS’s to RPG’s. The optical keys take a little getting used to as they have a soft touch- you don’t get that same mechanical feedback. Don’t get me wrong, the keys still offer resistance- it’s just “different”…. In a good way.The price tag was a little high but I believe you get what you pay for and this keyboard proved my point. The soft wrist support is very comfortable but could be a little deeper (front to back) for those of us with larger hands. The sound of the keys is audible and pleasant without being overbearing. Perfect. The software (Synapse) is not perfect. However they update very regularly and seem to be making improvements slowly.I can’t imagine anything I would change about this keyboard aside from a slightly larger wrist rest. It’s as close to perfect as a keyboard can get. I’m buying a second one to keep as a spare- nothing lasts forever.

Very sensative
I wanted to complete my Razer branded setup. I recently purchased the Viper Ultimate Wireless mouse and I also wanted to try out a keyboard with the optical switches. So, I purchased the Huntsman Elite with Linear optical switches. This keyboard very sensitive and did require a minor amount of getting used to. I was a little worried about the hard front edge of the wrist rest but I can say its actually fairly comfortable and I haven't had a problem with it so far. The cushion is softer and more comfortable than I expected. I hope it wont deteriorate over time (we'll see). The lighting added to the wrist rest is a neat touch and I'm really glad it uses magnets to attach to the keyboard. I've used several keyboards from corsair which used plastic clips to attach the wrist rest and they all eventually broke. I was also a bit worried about the volume control wheel, it's way more sturdy then I was expecting. The font they use for the Razer keyboards is aesthetically pleasing, clean and clear. I wish the back feet were a bit more beefy, they do feel a bit flimsy compared to the construction of the rest of the keyboard. It would be nice if the keyboard individual key lights were a bit brighter as well but they are within a range I would certainly call reasonable. The key travel is definitely shorter compared to other keyboards I've used in the past and it does take some getting used to. You definitely don't have to bottom out in order for your computer to register a key stroke and it does feel extremely responsive and fast that way. I guess if you got used to pressing down a bit more lightly you could theoretically type faster but I personally haven't been able to do that so far. I did do some typing tests and my typing speed isn't improved at all by the keyboard but I do see the potential for that after getting really used it. Is this keyboard something you really need to be competitive at gaming, I seriously doubt it. I have been using a Cyber Power PC keyboard previous to purchasing the Huntsman Elite and it did the job just fine. I think mice have a way bigger impact on my ability to play games competitively and this keyboard is just icing on the cake. An extra thing to make me feel good about my gaming set up. It's neat to have a matching keyboard and mouse that light up.Overall I do really like this keyboard. If you have some extra money to spend on a nicer keyboard I would recommend considering this one but I don't think its needed at all. So if you're pinching pennies and trying to get the most bang for the buck for your PC gaming set up, I would personally recommend spending your money else where, better graphics card, better CPU, better SSD, etc. I already had a decent PC and I just wanted to round out my set up and it does just that for me.

Excellent Quiet Gaming Keyboard! ...after I took it all apart and fixed my T
It's a fantastic keyboard! I've never gotten a gaming keyboard before because they are soooo loud. These are very sensitive keys, you don't have to fully press the keys down to input, allowing for nearly silent typing. Of course when you are mashing the keys it still makes noise, but it's nothing compared to any other gaming keyboard.Unfortunately, out of the box the T key was a bit sticky. I wasn't willing to give it up for any longer so I followed a guide and took it apart to see what the issue was. As you can see in the picture, some foam piece must've been put on sideways, and was messing with the switch! Silly issue, I just picked it up and put it upright, problem solved. I noticed there are a few of these, so if you have an issue with the A, S, H, J, T, or R keys, you might have the same problem. Probably not a very common issue, but still knocks a star of the quality for material. Also, for some reason the ~!@#$%^&*()_+{}|:"<>? plus the secondary keys along the F9-F12, aren't lit up. At this point yea, I've memorized most of them. But honestly my cheap Razer Cynosa lite had every key lit. It's almost too bad I can't just swap them. I was looking at the replacement keycaps that you can buy for this keyboard, but none of them from razer are appealing to me. Oh well, it's more just a mild inconvenience than anything, but knocks a star off the value for money. Got it 50% off tho, well worth that price.I've been looking for a lit keyboard like this for years, and I'd recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a quiet option like me. On sale it is a must buy!

Fps games use only.
For a very long time my first keyboard was some cheap warmart brand. Soon later I dropped a $400 after tax on a wireless logic tech gaming keyboard. Shouldn't had open it before redeem the warranty (was still within it, at the time). After a long time of research I settled with around this price $100-200 after tax. Sure it's not wireless nor the cleaning isn't the most effective. The quality it's supor. Whatever happens tech in general will need to be replaced once every 2 years. I am one of those super heavy user. The AWSD key still works fine. Compared to the V2. I won't know. This works just as great. WWhat ever happenes. This worth it in the end. Will buy it again(Fun fact. The rainbow rgb it's wasted on me. Since I only use white. Haha).
