Batman Bat Signal Projector Alarm Clock Radio

So my son (6yo) LOVED this when we first got it- We immediately found 2 negatives (but he didnt care): 1. we had to go to radioshack to buy an adapter so we could plug this in bc the batteries we put in resulted in a very dim light after two days ; 2. the radio is FM only and doesnt have any way to know which station you are on. Once we got the adapter (for $20!!!) , the light was better but after about 3 weeks the light is back to being dim. The light I mean is the clock projecting on the wall, which he did use as a nightlight at first but now he can barely make out the numbers it is so faint. I am hoping to figure out a way to fix this as he loves it so much- but very frustrating for a not so cheap clock!!!!

The item works, but it does not work great. The bat symbol is blurry at best and if you don't have a mirror in your bedroom you will not be able to see the time on the wall either.

I bought this alarm! clock for my husband for his birthday(he is 25 and a big fan of this kind of thing) WE BOTH LOVE IT!!!! It shines the bat signal OR the time onto the wall or ceiling and it is just as described! The perfect gift for ANYONE :)
