Learn and pretend
Got this for our two year old to help entertain/educate her during the pandemic. She has all the shapes, colors, and foods down. Still doesn’t really play the “game” as designed, but loves to pretend picnic with it. Only downfall is that it’s a cardboard box that doesn’t hold up to two year old destructive tendencies - though keeping some packing tape around has helped the basket soldier on with some mending.

Engaged two preschoolers for the entire evening. Success!
A gift for grandchildren across the country. Was able to watch then open it and get busy immediately playing and most importantly, imagining.

Fun and educational!
This is a great game for younger kids to help them learn shapes, colors, food, or just to have fun.

Just buy a little picnic set instead
The game says that it's playable two ways one by shape and the other by color. But the color method it doesn't work at all. There are four spaces on each game plate. but to fill the game plate with foods of the same color can't happen because only one of the colors comes with four items the rest come with three. this game would be much more versatile and fun if they had included four extra pieces one for each of the other colors. next time I'm just going to buy a little picnic set which is the fun part for my little one.
