I been using the Yamaha MG10XU 10-Input Stereo Mixer for some time now, and I must say it’s a fantastic piece of audio equipment that has greatly improved my sound setup.First and foremost, the build quality is exceptional. The mixer feels robust and durable, and all the knobs and switches have a solid, professional feel to them. This instills confidence that the unit will stand up to the rigors of regular use.Sound quality is where the MG10XU truly shines. The microphone preamps are clean and transparent, capturing audio with impressive clarity. The EQ controls are precise and allow for fine-tuning, which is essential for achieving the desired sound. Whether I’m recording music or running sound for live events, this mixer consistently delivers outstanding audio quality. The built-in effects processor is a notable feature of the MG10XU. It offers a variety of high-quality effects that can enhance vocals or instruments. The ability to apply effects without needing external processors is a significant advantage, especially for live performances. The USB connectivity is a real game-changer for me. It allows for easy integration with recording software, making it a versatile choice for home studios. The mixer also serves as a reliable audio interface, which simplifies the recording process. One thing I appreciate is the intuitive layout of the controls. Even if you’re new to mixing, you’ll find it relatively easy to navigate and start producing great sound quickly. The inclusion of LED level meters is a helpful addition for monitoring signal levels. In summary, the Yamaha MG10XU 10-Input Stereo Mixer is a top-notch audio mixer that offers exceptional sound quality, durability, and versatility. Using for Two PCs, One Record Player, and a Bass Amp
I upgraded from the now discontinued JBL monitor mixer. Wow, what a difference. It cannot be stressed enough, cables choices are important. I am using 1/8 - XLR for one PC into channel one, no hiss, tone control!; then RCA to XLR from my record player's preamp to channel two. Perfect, so clear and warm, no hiss!; the second PC is 1/8-1/4 in channel three, and then the bass amp's headphone out 1/4-1/4 to channel 4. For speakers I am running the JBL 305P MkII 5-inch powered studio monitors, and am using XLR speaker cables and again...no hiss! It did take me a bit to balance the Gain/Channel Vol/Main Vol, but I could not be happier with this purchase. Way to go Yamaha!!! As a musician, particularly a bassist, it is so nice to be able to control tweak a recording so I can hear my latest bass line I need to learn.

In my opinion one of the best mixers for a budget
This is a fantastic value and really good if you're a beginner to intermediate user of audio mixers. Simple to set up and get started. Plenty of channels to use (4 microphone channels) plus more for other audio sources. Plenty of input/output connections for master system and monitors. Built-in FX can be useful too. Mixer itself can be standalone or a USB audio interface, which is really useful for recording with your computer. Highly recommend to anyone starting out with a good mixer that doesn't break the bank.

Fantastic , but not happy about cord packaged in typical figure 8 , it will never straighten out.
...Then number one thing on stage is how you sound, however, lookinggood (as best we can) is also important.Yamaha goes out of there way to make us look bad and create dangeroustrip hazards; The cord is sent to you wadded up in a figure at , so you have a serpintinepower cord that will always look like trash and become a trip hazard, add insultto injury they give you a humongous power supply , that is in the middle of the cord,it should be integrated or a foot or so from the wall socket/power source end. There is NO excuse for anyone to send you a waded up figure 8 cord, a roundcoil never takes up more room and runs a straight line when you uncoil it,shame on yamaha, not to go over the trip hazard again, but it is also there. One last minor issue is that I would prefer the grounds on the balanced miccords to be reversed or oriented toward the top or backside of the mixer, causeI like to used 90angle low profile balanced outs, so the can only run straightacross the board in my case.Thats the bad stuff , now the good;Love the unit itself, I didn't even open the manual if it came with one, prettyintuitive if you've ever had a mixing board with onboard effects. The effects are limited to one at a time or a preset mix, which is really bad forsome, but I'm fine with it, I only need one basic sound. I like effect 4, I turn itway up on my vocal channel and about 1/2 or less in the global sound prettynatural to my ears. The unit itself also looks great, layout is good, sound is great, of course you needdecent active/powered speakers to go along with it and a good mic , as is truein most cases today. There is no noise when I turn the power switch on or off, while speakers areon, bravo, that is nice.I place this on a music stand, with notepad by its side, I have the music standfixed, so the tray can't possibly swivel, before I locked it in by drilling and boltingthe weight of the unit would cause it to spill everything on the ground, musicstands aren't made for that kind of weight, but it makes things very convenient, and when fixed' , pretty bullet proof. I strap cables to the stand so they exitthe area low as opposed to high, you can figure out why lol.....I read numerous reviews on like priced boards, chose this one , with maybe a featurehere or there missing, or features I don't need added, but the cores is there andreliability was rated above pretty much all the others, so for an extra $20.00 approx,I got something that I have a pretty good idea won't develope scratchy/noisy pots, and naggling fails after 6 mos or a year. One issue that many of you will see as a plus is the connectivity , I did not wantany of that, I just wanted a great live performance machine, and hoped that thedevelopement money and components would not suffer do to features thatI don't need nor want.Overall, I'm very happy with the board itself.

Great reliable mixer
Bought this to replace an older Yamaha model. This does everything I need it to do. Two small complaints: 1. There are no effects built into the board (my fault) I should have red the description better. There is another model exactly the same with effects.2. The auxillary send for aux 3 and aux 4 only work post fader. Not a big deal because I usually only need to use aux 1 and 2.

Me parece excelente. Llegó en tiempo y forma sin ningún detalle, fue mi auto regalo de reyes jejeje.

Perfect product terrible delivery
The mixer works perfectly, it is excellent but the delivery was terrible, terrible, horrible experience. I live in a building and the delivery guy didn't bother to ring the bell even once. I only left a piece of paper attached that I would try the next day. and the next day the same thing happened, he only left a piece of paper. I had to call to ask that he please call me when he was at my home and only then could I have my product. almost 5 days trying to leave a package without them contacting me

Maravilha
