My daughter loves it. I bought it for her third birthday(5/3). I also really liked it on her. Now the bad if would be that it's not all the way around a one piece. It's tied in so make sure you put shorts under. I cut a pair of old leggings because they was thin and didn't take from the dress.

This was one of my impulse buys. It's very pretty. It's also made from cheap materials. We got sequin unicorn, and while very beautiful, sequins scratch my daughter's under arms. She refuses to wear it. Also the ribbon tie around neck is just one sided ribbon (the one you would buy for wrapping gifts and not sewn one like they would normally be on dresses) making the edges somewhat sharp. Also the skirt is made from tiny tulle unconnected ribbons that have no underskirt. So if the child lifts leg or bend; underwear will show through. Also when washed, plan on spending ten minutes to detangle all the tulle ribbons. The size is half size smaller. My daughter is size 7 and very tall, and we got size 7-8 and it fits her perfect. If your child is size 8 I would go with the next size (unless the child is short and very slim). If you are looking for costume quality this is perfect dress. If you are looking for dress quality spend few dollars more.
