Only buy if 5' 10" or taller
I bought this chair to replace a similar style Modway chair. The quality of the chair is very good -- definitely above my older chair. Unlike the cheaper chairs, this one doesn't squeak every time you shift your weight. I would say the higher price of this chair is justified for those two reasons. The main downside is the positioning of the seat pan. It is positioned too far forward to allow me to sit comfortably with my feet firmly on the floor. For a person under 5'10", the seat needs to be pushed back by at least an inch. I purchased the upgraded version of this chair with the adjustable seat pan, however it only adjusts to push the seat out even further (for larger people). There is no option to adjust it in the opposite direction. For people under 5'10", the likely solution is to strap multiple pillow to the back in order to fix the ergonomics of this chair. However, that destroys the entire concept of having a mesh-backed chair. I am considering going back to the cheaper Modway since their seat pan is well-suited for shorter people.Update: I bought a chair support cushion to see if it could help with the above issues. Unfortunately, there is such a large gap between the seat back and the seat pan, that the cushion slips between them and therefore doesn't help. The cushion has a strap that goes around the back of the chair, but the gap is so large, that the strap can't prevent the cushion from slipping down. To make this work, it looks like you need two cushions: one to fill the gap between the seat back and the seat pan; and then a second pillow which rests on top to provide support.

Great alternative to name brands!
Bought two of these one with seat adjustment and one without. Literally no difference, seat only goes forward leaving you an unusual amount of space forcing you to lean in the chair. My measurements were 11 inches between seat (if not sitting on the plastic) and where the middle of your back meets the back rear. Not bad for when lounging but maintaining good posture is hard. It really likes to recline back, even on max setting. I know there is a locking mechanism but it only has 3-4 positions that just aren’t right for my setup. I’m 6’1 185lbs and the neck support is too low to use. It’s very comfortable compared to my old gaming chair and don’t regret buying. I just wish there was aftermarket headrest risers for this to accommodate my normal height (lol). For the money it’s a bargain. Good quality product, my cat is wild and still hasn’t torn it up like my old leather one and it’s been 4 months!I researched for months before buying and have purchased a few and returned. This was only one that I could justify the money compared to $1400 Herman Millers. If this is your budget buy this chair.I’ll attach a photo of my setup to give an idea of the look.

Good chair for under 6’
This chair is probably meant for someone who is under 6’. I bought it for my husband, who is 6’ 3” because he is working from home. The head support hits him on the shoulder, even at its highest adjustment, if he is sitting upright. The support is only helpful if he reclines- so not useful for upright computer work. The adjustable seat is good for his height, but if you are under 6’, I wouldn’t recommend getting this more expensive new model. The mesh material breathes well and is sturdy. Assembly is fast since most of the chair comes preassembled. The wheels roll a little slower on carpet, but that is to be assumed.

Comfortable, affordable chair.
I love this chair. My back hasn't hurt at all since I bought it. I am giving it four stars because the metal part that attaches to the bottom of the seat was bent at one of the screw holes so I had to request a new piece which took a few more weeks to arrive. I was able to get a replacement part by contacting the seller. The manufacturer never replied to my request.

Need better wheels
Wish it came with better wheels; had to order new wheels separately.

Met my expectations.
This chair has all the comfort, ease of set-up, and support I need. I'm 6'1" and weigh 230 lbs. Incidentally, my wife loves this chair as well and she is considered shorter and thinner than I.

Not that comfortable
I've used this chair for about 60 days. I really like that I can fold the arms out of the way, but I found the chair to be uncomfortable after a couple hours of sitting. I'm 5-8 and weigh 170, so maybe I'm a bit short for the chair? I ended up ordering a lumbar pillow to see if that helps

Height adjustment not functioning after 1 month
I like this office chair; it fits me well, and I am 5’1. Unfortunately, the height adjustment stop working after about a month. At least it’s STUCK at a workable height for me. I also have to use a pillow for lumbar support. The headrest works for me. I wish the armrests were more adjustable. Otherwise, it’s fine.
