This is my first over the head headset. I tried plantronics, which looks great. But doesn’t cancel noise like this one. I’ve stood on the side of the freeway with trucks and cars flying by... Couldn’t hear myself talking but when I asked what they could hear on the other side they said, “I heard a couple swooshes, but it was faint and not noticeable, only because I was trying to hear it.”I was on a call with a progressive customer service rep who told me I was so crisp and clear that I sounded like I was sitting right next to him talking, all while cleaning out my car, opening the garage, taking trash out.Also, the case is nice. Fits the headset and all the extras in the box as long as you Tetris it properlyCONS:Too tight on my head, and I don’t have a big head like other reviewers. But, I’ll deal with this t since I can drop it down around my neck when neededI can only make it 15 to mayyyyybe 20 feet before it starts cutting out. So the 300ft is no where near true. However, I’ve seen live YouTube trucker reviews where they got to the back of their truck with clear audio. So, some will, some won’t?

This headset is perfect for hands free use of your phone. I have been able to call, receive calls, text, listen to music, interact with my phone's web browser (using Bixby, but you can use Google Assistant, Alexis...) all while safely driving and not having to touch my phone. Occasionally, I will have to lightly tap the headset button to bring it out of sleep mode, but that is rare. I'm just kicking myself that I didn't buy this earlier. It should also work hands free with my Garmin that I just bought. I just have to figure that out. I am giving this a glowing report because it is that awesome. It is a game changer for truck drivers. We now have spy cameras in our trucks. They watch everything we do. With this Blu Parrot it doesn't matter because I can do everything I need to while driving. Noise cancelling is excellent! I stepped out of my truck & this headset stayed connected to my phone while I was about 300 feet away from it. Pretty Cool!

But my one and only complaint is the over head clamp or spring strap is why to tight. Or clamps to the head to hard, end up getting headaches, then have to adjust, and same thing again, or just plant hurts after a while. Needs to be a little weeker or different padding.

It has decent battery life that will last at least 2 days without charge. The sound quality us pretty decent I can hear my party clearly the only downside is sometimes they can't hear me so well due to mic issues I didn't have this problem with the 400xt but overall it's still a good headset for a (discounted) price

Hola soy Jorge.El motivo de mi contacto es por que el dia 1 de Abril, 2021 realize una compra de los audifonos BlueParrott B550-XT Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headset with 300-FT Wireless Range for iOS and Android Bundle with Blucoil Headphones Carrying Case, Rep con número de orden terminación 9400. los cuales he cuidado muy bien y les he dado el uso adecuado ya que me gustaron mucho solamente que hace algunos meses note que al realizar las llamadas no se escuchaban bienes por eso que me ponngo en contacto con ustedes para conocer cuales son los terminos y condiciones de la garantia que tienen estos audifonos.Podria por favor responder en español ya que no hablo el idioma Ingles.

In this day of smaller electronics this headset are quite large BUT they are the best dang noise canceling I've ever used. Absolutely fantastic. I would and will buy them again. Update: After using quite a bit in a windtunnel Jeep, cars and home office (don't want outside noises interfering) it continues to be fantastic! Will definitely buy again if I break or lose this one. 1 Yr Update: Still no problems except once and while it disconnects from my phone because I'm to far away (although I'm within the range Blue Parrot advertises). Still, great and will continue use and buy another if I lose this one.

Absolute garbage.... Does not work properly at all..../. 50% of the time the mic does not work and people can not hear you....Will drop calls frequently. Call support and they have you download the "Blue Parrot updater" with is not compatible with and computer software program in the last two years... What once was the best wireless headset brand has become a huge disappointment...... DO NOT SPEND $200 on something that does not work.... Everyone I know that has purchased this has returned them for the same reasons

Sound quality unbelievable!People say it sounds like we are talking in the same room. I work in sales, very important to have great quality on the sound. Whether you are in the office or driving, your customers will not be able to tell the difference. Talk time is through the roof not to mention 200 hour stand by time.
