Fit for purpose, but...
These speakers stands are not some intricate engineering marvel that require a bible-sized assembly manual, but the single sided sheet labelled 'User Manual' was nothing more than a list of safety instructions. After assembling the stands, I had two large washers that fit at the top or bottom of each telescopic pole, but it wasn't clear which end, so I left them off. There are also two funny plastic clips which I recognise as cable tidies, but there isn't a suitable hole to insert them. And finally in the unneeded extras, we have five one inch screws which might just have fallen in the packing box by accident. Unless, of course, I didn't read the non-existent instructions properly (looked online too).Other mysterious extras are holes in the rear corners of each base plate. One plate has some unsightly deep scratches on its upper, visible surface. Finally, the base of one of the telescopic poles has a barcode sticker which I've tried to remove, but remains there, as stubborn as a tattoo. Actually, my usual remedy for offending sticky labels is soap, water and scrubbing, or the same with lighter fluid. But only if it is safe to use those liquids. I don't have the will to try at the moment.I was about to finish on a high and compliment these stands, because they do the job, but I've just noticed that one of my speakers rocks backwards and forwards as I move near it; the base plate isn't perfectly flat like the other. So let's just stick with the headline...

Nice item let down by dodgy finish
No assembly instructions but fairly straightforward to put together. Not particularly impressed with the finish. Some sharp edges that should have been de-burred and some minor scratches to the paint - had these been for my lounge and not my sound studio then I would have returned them for a refund.
