NoteShel Portable sticky note holder with pen ( Fresh Green)

I purchased this to use at work since I have to record weights/measurements of material that I deal with and needed something to protect the sticky notes I use. The item works as intended, but it’s rather bulky and difficult to use since I usually keep it in my pocket. The pen doesn’t write that well and it easily falls out of the holder when not in use.This product will work great if you’re using it casually, but it probably isn’t suitable in an industrial setting.

The case is wonderful but the pen is kind of lacking. Extending and retraction action barely works, and that makes writing rough. Sadly, the pen slot is too long for a space pen and too short for anything else I've tried yet. It's a shame. If the pen were any good, this would be living in my pocket, but as it is, It's on my desk as I try to find a pen that might fit it.UPDATESo, I have grown more attached to this case after taking it to a conference. It held up quite well, and I had been considering giving it another star based solely on that. But to my surprise, NoteShel sent me a replacement, and the first pen I got must have been a dud, since the new one works just fine. It's by no means a great pen, but it does the job just fine. This has now gotten a permanent place in my kit.

I wanted this because my life is basically ran by sticky notes and I wanted something I could keep with me at work to be pulled out when needed.Pros: Small (fits in pocket), love the color (orange), good quality casingCons: The pen screams low grade, doesn't stay together as well as I'd like (the pen has to be in for the whole thing to magnetically stayed closed).It does the job. There really aren't a whole lot of competitive products on the market.

Loved it!! It keeps my sticky notes from getting crumpled up in my purse! I didn't really like the pen that goes with it, it's kind of strange, a bit uncomfortable to write with, but it's not that big of a deal as I usually just ise it to jot down a quick note, not to write a novel!!

This is a very nice item. Only issue is that the pen is not that great. Not sure what happened there...I'd like to replace it so I don't know if NoteShel offers replacements. I've gotten complements on the construction of the post-it holder itself, but again, people always ask "What's up with the pen?".

8/01/2016 Thought it was pocket size, nevertheless the postcard sized post-its are in sturdy orange case that can be refilled. There is a pen that you possibly can not lose as it clips securely to the outside lip of the holder. They are in my backpack, jacket pocket, etc.

This product is okay. But there are a few issues: one, the pen wasn't working very well with very little ink, 2, The magnet wasn't strong enough so thepen kept falling off. I wouldn't really recommend this item. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAYED FOR.

My adult son wanted this and loves it. He keeps it with him all the time and jots things down. The pen is always there and the pages are secure. It's lightweight, durable and attractive.

I am entirely delighted with this item. On ordering I would have preferred a few more colour choices, but bought it for it's functional rather than aesthetic features. However, that said the colour is fine and with the ability to change the pad I'm not entirely limited to the light blue colour.The NoteShel itself appears to be built to last. I already carry it around in a jacket pocket when out and about. The hard shell protects the notes inside and magnetic closure and pen grip is satisfactory. I have wondered about the spine and how durable it will prove to be but it's far too early to say. I have noticed that the pen has a habit of slipping out of its holder, but since it's in my pocket most of the time this matters little. The pen itself is a good writer.As to aesthetics, i like the feel of it in my hand. The non-slip texture of the shell is a real bonus for me.I also bought  Snopake 127x76mm Sticky Notes - Neon/ Assorted Colours (Pack of 6 , 100 Sheets per Pad)  to accompany the product and they fit perfectly.All in all a nifty little product! I purchased this because I needed a product to store my sticky notes, without them getting ruined in my bag and this does the job. I'm really pleased there's finally a product designed to store sticky notes. I'm not using the plain yellow sticky notes that came in this set and am using a few smaller pads of my own, and they fit perfectly well. I have only two complaints about this product, firstly, then pen is not easy to close back so it fits back into the holder, secondly, the magnetic closure won't work if the pen isnt there - which is a massive problem if you loose the pen.The product arrived quickly and packaged securely.

This is great. had it for few weeks now. It sits by my computer and I put all sorts of things in it messages reminders computer sites I like the odd telephone number. I then transfer everything to a notebook app I have and don't loose things. It fits in my bag great for shopping lists etc.Would highly recommend

A very nice, smart, strong and sturdy holder. It takes standard sized post it note pads (The rectangular ones, not the square) and comes with a rather handy pen. Unlike one other reviewers comments, the pen on mine does not constantly fall out, it stays firmly in it's place even when the holder is open.I ordered the green coloured one (which looks more yellow in the Amazon photo) - the green one is a sort of lime green colour and looks really good.
