Good all round….
No chemical smell, no bits dropping off and burn long enough to light the kindling or briquettes. Slightly harder to light than the chemical lighters but excellent value for money.

Great product
Easy to use but some blocks didn't always light effectively

Cheap and works well.
These are a little slower to get started but once they are going they start my log burner no issue. I normally get away with 2 and I don't use kindling.Like I said, they are slow to start but the burn for longer. For the price I recommend highly.

GOOD FIRELIGHTERS
Got these to light a log burner stove, i have used this type of lighter before, for lighting bbq, and not really rated them, found them hard to light, and usually reverted to the old paraffin /wax type as they take no lighting, but smell awful. Thought I'd give these a try, bought a bag of 60 to start with, if i didn't like them, no big loss. On opening the bag, for me, they have a smell of dog biscuits or something like that, they are not oily to touch. I use the top down method of lighting my stove, and only use one of these under the kindling, product write up and lots of reviews say to use 2 or 3,but i can't understand the need to, i only use 1,and the kindling is burning well within a few minutes, the fire burning well within 15, never had a problem. All i have to say is that they take about 5 seconds to set alight with a gas lighter, a lot longer than the parrafin ones which light instantly, but that's not a problem, but may be why some reviews say that they are hard to light, some people have no patience. As for how long they burn, obviously, when they are under the kindling, it's impossible to tell, so i lit one on its own, and they burn for about 10 mins. I will be buying more, and recommend them, unless you can't spare the 5 seconds it takes to light them.

Only cheaper if you use two to start a fire.
I am a long time user of Zip fire lights and turned to Amazon after Tesco decided to stop selling them. So I thought I would try this brand.Compared to zip firelights these are smaller, more environmentally friendly, less messy but harder to light, give off less flame and are only cheaper if you can get away with using 2 per fire. The 200 bag pack works out at 5.9p per firelight compared to 7.5p per Zip firelight bought in bulk.I have been using 3 of these compared to 2 Zips to start a fire, so they are actually working out as 3p more expensive per fire or 90p a month. So it's all down to your personal preferences.

Perfect for all fires and great value
Great value and eco firelighters, instead of smelling of petro chemicals these almost smell of dark chocolate. A little trickier to light but still v easy. I use two to start woodburner, BBQ or pizza oven (as unlike many you can use for lighting these too)

Not as good as wood wool
The do work, but not as easy to use as wood wool which is cheaper.

I keep buying them
Love these , no smell , have kept buying them on maybe purchase 5 or 6 noe. Reasonable , easy to light , no chemically smell or residue when touching . Light up well and stay alight for a good 5 mins or so plenty of time for the kindling to catch. Will continue to buy them. Very happy
