Sport-Brella Versa-Brella SPF 50+ Adjustable Umbrella with Universal Clamp

I have an apartment and face west in the Phoenix heat. I like to sit on my balcony in the afternoon, but the sun will burn you here. This little umbrella is perfect!! I clap it to my seat and maneuver it as the sun moves. This blocks everything. Makes my area nice and shady. And it holds up against the wind.

First one arrived damaged; this company's customer service is great. They ordererd a replacement and shipped it, giving time for me to return the damaged one. It arrived within 2 days of reorder and it is in good working order. Very easy to resolve a problem.

What they don't tell you is that the knob has a nut inside it that screws onto the screw that is attached to the clamp. If you completely unscrew the knob, it falls off and the nut rolls away - in my case into the sand. The company was very accommodating and sent me replacement knobs and nuts. Here is how I solved this problem: With NO MORE than a drop of crazy glue, I used a toothpick to spread it on the top of the nut, CAREFUL not to get the glue into the threads! Then place the nut into the knob and use the other end of the toothpick to straighten it and push it into the grooves at the base of the inside of the knob. Works great. I asked the company to pass on tho the manufacturer this small but important issue. I WILL ORDER MORE OF THESE EITHER WAY - IT IS THAT NICE.Other than that, I was surprised at the quality of the fabric, parts and construction of this umbrella. Its shorter end is perfect for awkward spots. I use to clamp to the railings at the outdoor restaurant I go on the beach for morning sun shade. It has fabric awnings that are low, so the short side is perfect on top. The clamp opens to 1 and 3/4 inches, generous enough for a rail and is curved inside for clamping onto tubular needs as small as 1/2 inch. The carrying case is as nice as the umbrella. All parts are metal and hardened, thick plastic with plastic protection tips on every spoke. Well worth twenty bucks.

Great quality, super easy to adjust to any angle. easy to carry. light. Shipped Fast, boxed well. Clamps easily to multiple shapes. as described.

Shades everything, keeps rain off, but it's big and it's heavy, good if you don't want to disassemble after youadd it to the scooter.

Returned due to not fitting my intended application on my mobility scooter. Too short, kept hitting my head as not enough clearance. Also was flimsy feeling.

Good shade. We live at a high elevation making the sun pretty intense. Bought 3 of these and they work great.

We were unable to tighten the clamp that should hold the umbrella in place on the arm of the beach chair. The bolt on the clamp will strip and you will no longer be able to use the clamp to tighten it to your chair. The clamp is defective, it will not tighten and just spins in place.Have contacted the seller but have not received a response to our complaint. Once the problem occurs outside the 30-day return window, amazon assumes no responsibility for the sale of this defective item. Just a waste of money.
