Product worked well but would have been nice to have had some instructions.

The elastic cords on my Zero Gravity Lounge Chair had seen too many hot summers and cold winters. So I ordered this product to use to replace the worn-out elastic cords on my chairs. Each package comes with two (2) long cords for the seat portion of the chair, and two (2) shorter cords for the backrest. Just do one section of the chair at a time and look at the opposing side of the chair to see how the original elastic cords were routed. It took me about 30-minutes to complete the entire process on each of my chairs. Easy enough for just about anyone to do!!!

My wife tried to put these on but could not get both sides on. It is no problem putting one side on. But the other side required strong hands to pull the cord tight enough to get all the holes. She tried it 3 times and gave up. So, I did it with a bit of manhandling. Just be sure you have somebody handy who can put some muscle into it.The cables are not too short -- if they made them longer the chair would sag.

This could not have been easier! In under 20 minutes the seat was like new! The elastics are high quality and matched our chairs perfectly!My only tip is to pay attention to the direction you “sew” the elastic, the first loop at the bottom of the chair (when you begin) should push through the front of the eyelet with the “laces” being pushed behind the chair. This will ensure that when you come to the folding part of the chair you’re lacing the right direction.

We bought two sets for two chairs, they worked and fit perfectly, very happy!

The cords on my wife's LaFuma zero gravity chair finally started breaking after 18 years! I managed to tie two breaks back together to get through a camping weekend, then started looking for a fix when we got back home. Considering her chair originally cost about $100 and a new LaFuma would run us $250+, figured it was worth trying to replace the cords first.It was a bit difficult to determine the length I needed because the existing cords were so stretched out, but I went with these figuring... a) free returns and b) if they were too long I could double up when wrapping. These turned out a little long but that was better than too short!They were the same style as the original cords, and I just followed the threading pattern on the opposite side of the chair as I wrapped. Since they were a little long, I had to unwrap once or twice and double-wrap a few areas to make them work, but that just added extra support to the chair. This included a full set of cords, 2 for the seat and 2 for the back of the chair.In the end, my wife is happy she has a rejuvenated chair and it only cost $10.

Ni problem with using them. Worked as described.
