My eight year old loves it
My eight year old is delighted by this Geotrax set. We have owned other Geotrax sets for about eight years. They are durable and played with frequently by my four children. To me -- this set seems like it would be a little frustrating since the bridge can be tricky to lock into place. It has a lock that can be switched on or off so the bridge will either stay intact or come apart when a train drives over. When I looked at it, it seemed like you had to get the track just right to get it to stay put and locked into place. But, my son -- who loves to build things just to tear them apart (as opposed to his older brother who likes to build things and not tear them apart) -- cannot get enough of watching the train climb the hill and go crashing to its doom over and over when it hits the bridge.

Poor Quality
This item is not of Fisher-Price's normal quality. Everything fit together OK but the exploding bridge was terrible. There is no way a child could make this product work without becoming very frustrated because we spent most ofan hour with putting the set together and trying to figure different ways to make the bridge stay up and work.I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Bridge is soo frustrating!!
We love geotrax products, but the darn bridge on this thing is so frustrating. Even when "locked" if you put the slightest amount of pressure on it, it collapses. Now, this is not really a problem if your kids solely use the train with the remotes. But, my kids like to push the trains about as equally, if not more so than using the trains with the remotes. If they push the trains over the bridge, the bridge collapses, even if locked. I've tried putting tape on the bottom, but no luck. Also, you can't bypass the bridge because it is very integrated into this track - there would be very few pieces left if you did that. I wish geotrax would offer a replacement part that doesn't collapse.

neat product, didn't work
Was a great idea for a toy, however with our's the train didn't move when the remote was used. All sounds worked, but no movement. Also, the bridge was also a bit of a pain to keep in place.

Pretty Good Deal for the Money
Has held up very well for my 2 and 4 year old's since September 2013. A lot of people complain about how hard it is to reset the bridge after it explods but if you put your finger in the slot where the white button is and push in, it resets faily easily.

Hours of keeping kids entertained
I saw other reviews about the bridge not staying closed and I was worried about purchasing it but my son has had no problems with the bridge. It works perfectly, holds the weight of the train as it crosses and opens easily when he wants it to. My almost 4 year old can easily snap it back together when he takes it apart and can change the pieces around without help. It is very durable and can withstand a boy who loves to throw it across the room. We have another GeoTrax train set and the pieces all can be interchanged without a problem. I highly recommend this system for boys who are rough with their toys.

Poor design doesn't work well with other Geotrax stuff
We love Team GeoTrax, but this set is not a good design. The tracks on the bridge don't line up well so the train derails most of the time. Woody and Bullseye are too tall to fit under the other Geotrax stuff like Grand Central station. Additionally, the layout of this set makes it difficult to incorporate into regular Geotrax layouts. This bridge is a different height so you can't use it with regular Geotrax ramps so it is stuck in the mostly figure 8 design. The train is just Steamer relabeled for TS3 so it has the same pusher engine problems. (The gear that grips the track is on the second car so it pushes the engine and doesn't navigate switch tracks as well as the cars with the gear on the engine itself like Aero.) We are returning this item tomorrow.

Lots'O Frustration
1. The train is needlessly loud. My kids have some loud toys but this one bugs me more. If someone in another room is talking to you...you won't be able to hear them.2. Poor Design: The makers decided to put the engine of the train as the middle car instead of as the first car in the train. This requires your child to constantly correct the train as it goes around the track. Since, the first car is light it is often pushed off the track by the driving car...then the whole train is off the track.
