Best 49" for the money yo!
You guys already know the specs so ima just share my experience after using it for 5 months.I have the 49" curved.Youtube: 6/10 i think only about 1% of the videos on youtube is 32:9 or even less, so don't expect to view the videos full screen, there will be 2 big black bars on the side.Gaming: 8/10, vibrant color and great contrast, you can't go wrong with 144 hz. If you just play the game for fun then this monitor is great for you, BUT if you are a serious gamer, PLAY TO WIN then you might want a smaller monitor. This monitor is so big that your eyes have to move non-stop. Ex. League of legend, I have look left and right all the time to keep an eyes on the maps, unlike my smaller screen, i didn't have to much move eyes that much, allows me to react/responds much quicker.Adobe photoshop/ Ai/ video editing/ multitasking: 10/10 ! this is where this monitor shines. I'm a graphic designer, this monitor make my job 10 times easier. With so much room, allows me to work efficiently.Tips:-use display port to reach 144hz boys and girls!-Turn down the brightnessssss!! if you don't want to BBQ your eyes, drop your brightness !! 45 to 50% is a good number-Increase your texts size and sit further! with a screen of this size, remake your desk or get a new one, keep a well distance that allow you to see the whole screen without moving your eyes so much.-Get the software called Displayfusion, it will help you organize/ resize your windows. ( or you get similar software, there are tons out there)Overall, this monitor is pretty well made with a sleek looking style. You don't really need 4k monitor since 1080 is still dominating the market. For the price i think this is the best monitor for 49" curved monitor.I like it...ah man.. i gotta get back to my work.. peaceeeee!oh.. the built-in speaker sucks, I turned them off since the beginning of earth so... get yourself a new pair of speakers if you do get this monitor.

An absolute unit of a monitor
Edit (1.5 years later):This monitor is still going strong for me! I don't really have anything negative to say other than that if the monitor goes into sleep mode that sometimes only one half of the screen wakes up so you have to mess with the input settings to correct it. The other issue is that my PC will only apply blue light filter settings to one half of the monitor if you have 2 DP or HDMI cables hooked up to it (so not really a monitor problem, but it was alarming to me when I noticed it - it can be fixed in Windows). I've otherwise continued to really get a ton of value out of this monitor.I work from home full time and like to game when I'm not working. I was wielding dual monitors, but wanted to free up some real estate on my desk without losing the amount of screen I was working with. So, I decided to go big.And boy, is it BIG.I did a bit of research before settling on this particular brand/model, and all points lead to this one being the best bang for the buck.Set up was relatively easy. The packaging came with all the necessary hardware and screws whether you're using the included stand or intending to use a VESA mount. Installing the monitor just required inserting a few screws into the base, and the monitor slid easily into place. It's extremely easy to adjust height and angle as well. The screen itself is curved just enough to give a feel of immersion without it feeling like it's engulfing your head. For work I use a thin client, and that turned out to be a little bit more of a challenge to set this monitor up with just because the client is older. That said, the multi-window setting built into the monitor (navigating with the included remote) essentially "tricked" the thin client into thinking it had 2 monitors hooked into it instead of one.For gaming this thing is awesome. Upon hooking this up to my hobbyist PC I was initially a little disappointed in the colors being a bit washed out, however if you go to the Viotek website they do have custom ICC profiles that you can install based on whichever monitor model you have. This helped correct some of the color issues right away (however you can play around with the settings in the monitor itself to adjust to your personal preference). The performance you get heavily depends on what games you are playing. No Man's Sky with all settings on ultra played beautifully without any adjustments whatsoever, however Assassin's Creed: Origins had all sorts of issues with tearing and odd color issues that took quite a bit of tweaking to get right. However, I personally don't play the majority of my games on the ultra wide settings, so results may improve as I spend more time learning the ins and outs of what this monitor is capable of.Overall, if you want to go big without spending over 1k, this is a really solid choice for a monitor. I will likely update as time passes and I get to spend more time with this beaut.
