If you want perfection get a maid or do it yourself
We have had this little vacuum for several months and are very pleased. If you are looking at this vacuum you are looking for something affordable yet functional, and this thing fits that bill. If you want a vacuum that has lidar, can identify heat signatures, can sense all the dust particles in a mile radius while cooking for you too then go spend 10k. Still I would bet you won't be free of responsibility. Our house is mostly hardwood floors and large low pile area rugs and this Kenmore does great, it senses the stairs and most walls, but it still bumps into things, its the economy model that's expected. It can find its way home although sometimes it takes a little while and the dust bin isn't very large so you end up having to empty it often. Still when I can stand in the kitchen and have a conversation with my wife. a friend or mother in-law while the house is getting vacuumed = win. When I can get my kids ready for school, cooking breakfast and packing lunches while my house is getting vacuumed = win. I have gotten some freedom from responsibility. Sure it gets stuck occasionally, I have to rescue random action figures from the brush, and you have to empty the dust pan. Hey, It is still doing 90% of the work and the dust bin is almost always full, which is crazy and awesome! I clearly wasn't doing as good or as consistent job, as robot here. Plus if it does get stuck or jammed it shuts off quick so I don't have to worry about it, burning the house down or something crazy. I have two dogs and two kids and it just feels good that areas which weren't getting vacuumed often like under the couch are getting clean on the reg. The house just feels better. The app is great, I have it programed to start every morning when we all get up, I typically run it when we are home just to keep an eye on it and empty it occasionally. If I had complaints, the magnetic strip works but its not very long or flexible so its applications are limited, and some times the vacuum moves it if its not fully covering the door way or for me under the entertainment center which is a trap every time. I could fix it with a longer strip or double sided tape, so small fries really. The brush gets wadded up with dog hair after awhile, which for me has happened on every vacuum ever, but the brush is small and pops out super easy so its way easier to clean than any stand-up vacuum I've had, doesn't really bother me either. Its so simple and easy, truly my biggest problem is keeping toys off the floor so it can work! Cleanable filters, easy to empty, self charging, and its doing most of the vacuuming that I wasn't doing in the first place, so for me I call this purchase a major victory and recommend it to anyone looking for something to help you out. Its a robot, its not perfect if you want that hire a maid or do it yourself but I appreciate it taking one chore mostly off my plate without breaking my budget. When it dies I'll get another or when I am rich I'll upgrade to one that can sense heat seeking missiles, until then rock on little Kenmore robot vacuum.

This is my first robot vacuum so I don't have anything to comapare it too. It's not a smart vacuum so it won't map your house, but it does a decent job for the price. I'm on the fence as to keeping it or upgrading to a smart version. It's relatively quiet but it does make a grinding noise that at times is concerning. The battery life really doesn't seem to last that long. I used this for around 40 minutes and the battery life was around 64 percent. It has never been able to find the charging dock. It's not a deal breaker if you are able to stay home and baby sit it. The app is good but the remote control function doesn't seem to work. It's good for the price, but I don't think it's going to work for my family.Update: I kept the vacuum and got another with lidar navigation. I couldn't bring myself to return it. Does a good job and the grinding noise was caused by a little piece of plastic stuck in the wheel. I still use this vacuum and I do love it. Can climb over thresholds and get under furniture better than my other robot vacuum.

It’s a good robot!
The little gal is a little dumb, but she does the job. I have a 600 sq ft apartment, linoleum in the kitchen/bathroom, flat carpet in the living room and bedroom, 1 flat rug, 1 shaggy rug and she tackles them just fine. I say she’s dumb because I have a desk that has an “H” type frame where she loves getting stuck, but since I put the anti robot strip there she’s been doing better about staying away. Then she got stuck behind the door in the bathroom and trapped herself (haha) and died there! That only happened once as I now leave the door open for her at all times.I have long hair and I shed like crazy, so I have to clean the rolling brush a lot, she kept showing an error saying that the brush was stuck and then I realized my hair was tightly coiled on the ball bearing side. I took care of that and she was happy. She does a great job and I’ve loved having her as an alarm to wake up as I set it up that way (she lives under my bed)I also used to have a cat so his hair was everywhere, the suction is great as it really picked up the hair well!I like the remote control on the app. It’s super handy! I like the edge cleaning function, I’ve really liked my little robot so far :)
