igourmet Royal Blue Stilton DOP Cheese by Long Clawson - 2.5lb. Half Moon Cut (2.5 pound)

I found this cheese to be of excellent quality. Unfortunately, a little too good. I went through the entire thing in a few days. I’m still working to get my excess weight off. A fun way to splurge.The shipping was perfect. Packaged well with plenty of ice still frozen.

This Stilton blue cheese was exactly as described; 2 1/2 lb half moon cut, great flavor, shipped very quickly (1 day from PA to TX) with still frozen ice pack. Recommended!

This is just what you expect in a Stilton, and a great value from Amazon. The shipping is a little on the high side, but the cheese is packed with a cold pack and in Styrofoam so it won't spoil even in the summer. Better value than some of the catalogs we get. Two and a half pounds...that's a lot of cheese!! But, family and friends enjoyed it throughout the Holidays making happy hour a breeze. One tip, serve it at room temperature if you like it nice and creamy.Update to last year's review: This is a favorite at our house, and it's amazing how fast 2.5 pounds disappears around the Holidays. I emphasize, serve it at room temperature for best flavor and creaminess. Would be six stars if there was a way to order a middle cut rather than have a rind on one of the flat sides. I have ordered this four times over the years and have gotten the rind twice.

Received the stilton a week ago. Full flavored crumbly, obviously fresh from the producer. The product was well- packed with an ice-infused plastic wrap and was still cold when it arrived. Shipping was fast. Would (and will) buy again in a heartbeat!

Yum!!!! I paid four times more to get a small wheel of Stilton from a large kitchen store’s web site. This was much more affordable but absolutely same quality. Long Clawson is a first rate business providing the best quality. I’ll be purchasing this again, for sure!

This is seriously awesome Stilton cheese. The very best I’ve ever tasted. I’m a ‘cheese person’, and Stilton is my #1 choice. It’s not easy to get. After a while I got tired shopping around at Whole Foods, and the like, and coming up empty. I decided to try Amazon and this brand came up first. I looked at other less expensive choices, but I only live once so I clicked ‘Buy’. It got here two days early. Would it be a bust or heaven? Without giving it time to warm a bit, I cut me a thin slice. Heaven! Wow! The Best! Rave! Subtle yet distinctive flavors, not overpowering or pungent. If you like blue cheese, try Stilton. Highly recommended!

the texture is not quite right & real stilton does not have a biting blue cheese taste to it, not the one I had before, this cheese is creamy/slimy, stilton is not, also the crust looks quite different, taste more like cheap US blue cheese, so one can eat it, but too expensive for not being the real deal, perhaps it's a matter of drying out a bit..?.. or their are different versions of Stilton..? my local supplier does not carry it anymore, must have gotten to expensiveice packs were still frozen on arrival, so, it's not a shipping issue

OMG! This earns the title King of Cheese. This is absolutely fabulous. We received the cheese in just a few days in a cold pack. Cheese is wrapped in wax. Took one bite and I was whisked away by the cheese gods. So worth the money.
