JUE 477: The Remarkable History & Restoration of the World’s First Production Land-Rover

i bought this following a fairly rave review in octane so expectations were quite high. its an "ok" book but unfortunately it fell short of these high expectations - the resto description is fairly high level and the photography not quite as consistently good as i believed from seeing one or two selected pics in book reviews, the photos used in reviews really are the highlights.

Da ich schon fast die gesamte Literatur zu Land Rover hatte und seit Jahrzehnten eine Serie I fahre, war dieses Buch die logische Ergänzung. Mir gefällt die Geschichte der Entdeckung und vor allem die behutsamen Restaurierung, die sich von den üblichen "besser als neu" Restaurierungen deutlich unterscheidet und den Charakter des Fahrzeuges weitgehend erhält.
