Pillow Pets Sparkling Unicorn Glow Pets 17"

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. The battery pocket for this is very well made, I was impressed. It takes 3 AA batteries, very standard and very easy to insert. There are three modes of operation, On (lights remain on constantly), Off (lights don't come on at all) and Timer (lights go off automatically after 20 minutes). I was surprised that the head doesn't light up at all and that there isn't a flash mode of operation. I see in the pictures that the head doesn't light up but I just made the assumption that there would be another mode of operation where it would be. Also, after inserting the batteries, I opened the pillow up to look at it in that position and I could not get the velcro to catch to hold it back in it's folded position. First of all, there was a small clump of the plush that was caught in the stitching of the velcro attached to the body, which I trimmed off and got out of the stitching, but it didn't help. However, what I did not see was an extra flap that, when you put the pillow pet in it's open position, this flap falls over to cover the velcro strap so that when the pet is on the floor in the open position it will now stick to carpeting or blankets. All you do is hold this piece of material out of the way and the velcro holds itself closed without any issues. She received a Pillow Pets Zebra which has the same thing on it. She just loves her Pillow Pets! Bubba would just like to see more in the lighting.Yes, I would highly recommend this product.

The pillow is fine - soft and fluffy. But the lighting was broken on arrival - broken wire or switch.

Lights do not work, ordered for my daughters birthday with not enough time to return.

So cute, but had some difficulty turning it on and off
