Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like the form factor. Have about 20 of these now. May be time to let my older HDDs go

Keep them dust free

If you need more than one then buy the pack like this. It will hold a full size 3.5" NAS hard drive. These have a plastic flexible hinge so probably not for opening and closing every day. This is better than trying to store in some box or just in an ESD bag on the shelf. After I get everything setup and if I have more than 5 spare drives then I'll probably order another set so I have a replacement drive ready. And the color code and label will help so I don't have to check each case. They are also much less expensive than other options I could find.

Nice fit for the 3.5 inch drives for storing on a shelf. I would like to give a 4.5 to 4.8 dinging for the simple fact that the nubs on the plastic don't quit line up quickly to prevent sliding off each other. My opinion is that a little better design and they would stack quickly without feeling for the sweet spot. I worry that if I don't get it lined up perfectly, it takes some times to get it right, the top case will will slide off the tower. Probably won't but my OCD says line it up OR ELSE.

Good boxes.You need to "break in" the lock because they are a bit hard to open and I needed to work with my thumb nail to unlock them, but after a few times they loosen up a bit.The interior is nicely done, and the exterior shell is sturdy enough.They also look good if you need to keep them on sight on the shelve.
