4x4 post to concrete slab
I couldn't dig because their are underground pipes where I needed to put the post. So I found these brackets and installed them on top of the concrete. The hardest part was drilling the holes. You need a rotary hammer drill, luckily my neighbor had one and then it took us about 30 minutes to drill 24 holes for 6 brackets then we had to pound in the bolts with a hammer and tighten the nuts with a socket wrench the whole process took about an hour. I've read that a lot of people were having trouble removing the labels. I left the brackets out in the desert sun for a few hours and the label peeled right off, I used a razor blade to get them started and they almost came off whole. I live in the Mojave Desert and the wind is strong most of the year sometime as strong as 70 MPH. So I used 4 brackets in a 16' span for safety and piece of mind.

Strong base for stand alone deck posts.
The base is sturdy, nicely painted, will be an easy install. I see a lot of complaints about the labels, and yes they are a bit of overkill. I removed mine easily by saturating with WD40, then wait a couple minutes, till the label turns grey, if you have white spots it means the glue hasn't released, give that spot another spray. Get the label off by starting with a razor blade at corner, and it will peel right off. Use WD-40 and a shop rag to remove the remaining glue. Took about twenty minutes to remove ten labels. Hope it helps.

works very well on driveway
My only problem with this product is what it took to get label off. Soaking and then lots of goof off. The product itself does what it is supposed to do. It holds a 4x4 in 3 corners so fencing can be installed and dogs can go to fenced in backyard through dogie door on driveway. Love that dogs can go out anytime.

Work as planned
I used these for a log railing I built and they worked great.

connect 4x4 post to concrete
These post supports work great. I have used them a couple time for railings on concrete porches made of treated 4x4's. If there is a corner in your railing design they are even better. I use 3/8 anchors in the half inch holes, plenty strong and you can adjust them slightly after drilling. All post and deck hardware seems pricey to me.

Great buy.
Installed a fence with these on our patio about a month ago and so far no rust and is very sturdy. Some complained about the stickers on the product and they are right. They are impossible to get off and had to soak the stickers in olive oil and scrape off.

This product is an excellent buy!
I really appreciated the quality of build. I used these bases to extend my fence onto my driveway, allowing my to contain my four dogs more easily.
