Nice safety glasses, prefer full lens to bifocal style
My left and right eye require a different prescription, so i actually bought two pair and changed out one of the lenses. These are comfortable glasses, maybe a little tight above the ear, lightweight with big lenses. Checking around on amazon, this is one of the few brands i could find with full lens correction (not bifocal) with a wider range of lens options. I picked +0.5 and +1.5 and combined them. Low price, seems like good quality. time will tell, but i am happy with them so far.Update:these are pretty much the only reading glasses i use these days. haven't found many others that have full lens correction and have separate lenses that can be removed from one pair and placed in another. they are comfortable and i like them. bumped up the rating from 4 to 5.

Great for pistol shooting
If your eyes are getting older like mine you'll appreciate these glasses. I use them for shooting pistol matches. They sharpen the front sight post just enough for a better sight picture and the view beyond the front sights is not too blurry especially out to about 20 yards which is about the most you'll need for pistol matches.

good for shooting sports
Ok, I know I can't complain, but I feel like I want to. I shoot Pistol competitively, and have been having some sight issues. I say I should not complain because when I went to my optometrist recently complaining about not being able to quickly get a front sight picture which was impacting my ability to shoot USPSA at the level I have been shooting it. Well after complaining to my Doctor, she laughed at me. She said I should be thankful this change took so long. The reality is I am 53 years old. My vision is better than 20/15 for everything further than arms distance away. Yes, I know I am still lucky, but it really sucks having to wear reading glasses to read a book I am holding when I can put that same book on the table and read it clearly from 5-10 feet away. I know, you do not feel sorry for me.Well my main problem was shooting. I was having a hard time getting a sharp front sight picture. I could see the targets clearly, but my shot groupings were expanding, especially at speed, when I was practicing and competing. I spoke with a friend who shoots and he mentioned that he has a special set of glasses that are 1.5 power in his dominant eye and 0 in his other eye. He said it took some getting used to, but now he can shoot back at his normal level. And his normal level is very impressive. So I figured I needed to test this out. I could have gone back to the optometrist and spent a bunch of money, but instead I thought, why not try these glasses? They are impact resistant, and quite inexpensively priced. I ordered the .5 power glasses and they are an improvement. Not perfect, but much better. So I just ordered the .75 power glasses and am waiting for them to come in. If these work as I think they might, I will then bring the slide from my gun (because I don't want to bring an actual gun to my Doctors office in the state of New Jersey) and will have my Doctor fit me for a set of glasses with the proper magnification for my my dominant eye. These glasses are being used to test my theory, and so far its working. Once that is done I will use them on my reloading bench or in my garage. Might as well see clearly when I need to also be wearing eye protection.

Perfect for project work
These work so much better than readers for home projects. Definitely protect the eyes and provide clear vision.

Temples are the weak link
These work great for me, unfortunately the gray and black part of the temple is connected via a very small cylindrical piece of plastic which I believe fails due to pressure from ear muffs.

Love these and want tinted lens model
The .5 magnification is excellent for improving front sight acquisition at speed, and the glasses fit and look great. My only regret is that I have to take them off to switch to sun glasses.Have told many shooting buddies about them and at least a few have purchased either the .5, .75 or 1x models and been quite pleased. If these were available tinted I would immediately by a pair, or 5 to cover me when I inevitably lose them.
