Why Doesn't God Just Heal Me

A wonderful book that puts your wants, needs and desires into perspectives that you have not previously thought about. Excellent book.

This book is important, there is something for everyone. I especially appreciate the Ebed-Melech example, it is so relevant in our hurry hurry, I want my own comfort world. Instead be motivated by concern and compassion for others. Having the kind of integrity to actually do what you say and go beyond the norm to make other’s suffering less. In doing this, we are rewarded by fulfilling our purpose. “They don’t just tell you to call if you need anything, they think of something to do to help, and then they just do it”.I loved when the author emphasized that God is infinitely wise and infinitely kind. He is trustworthy, and when we pray God listens and God decides.“Poor Lazarus had to die twice” that was funny, but Jesus knew. And when we know (not just say) that we truly trust Him, even in our sicknesses, we will have hope, peace and joy.This book speaks peace to those suffering out loud and silently. God hears and sees our heart. I love God more after reading the author’s testimony of His faithfulness and seeing her through, you will too, perhaps for the first time.

This book was easy to read yet incredibly encouraging and insightful. The author is obviously a gifted story-teller and Bible teacher. She achieved a beautiful balance of sharing her personal journey and experiences along with many familiar (and some not so familiar) stories of the Bible, which she relates in a compelling and easy to understand manner that opened my heart to the timeless truths of God's word in a fresh way. Whatever your circumstances, we all experience pain and suffering in various ways, both physical and emotional, so this book is written for you! You will not regret reading it, and you will want to share it with your family and friends, I guarantee.

Kathie's book is filled with the Word. She testifies that no matter how we feel, well or ill, God is still Good. He doesn't change!

While this book is about healing, the scriptures speak broader to life itself and the joy of the Lord being our strength, our breath, our very existence. It is written in my area of core beliefs and it's a gem.My wife purchased this book and I snagged it first. I had to reread much of it out loud as it is always good to speak God's Word. I realized I was reading some remarkable scriptures and commentary. Thank you Kathy.

I picked up your book this morning to reread a chapter. I ended up reading three chapters, as I couldn't put it down. Your story in Uganda is such a beautiful testimony of learning to trust God in all circumstances, even the really hard places. I love how you bring it all back to His Word and promises. This book is so annointed. I sit here with tears steaming down my face so encouraged to keep trusting God in all circumstances.

The words in this book reached out and touched me. I am so grateful that the Author wrote a book so true to so many of us. We may not be healed yet, but it's comming

We are battling 2 different things but all the wisdom in this book appliesto both.Thank you Kathie for taking the time to research and write this book. This will be one I have on me at all times to give to my family and friends and even strangers that are going through their own personal hell. God is real and God loves us but His ways are not our ways!
