Completely crashed within 2 years
In a couple of days it would be exactly 2 years that I have bought this and used this computer. The first year and a half the computer ran perfectly with no problems. The speed was great the graphics was good I had no complaints. Within the last couple of months I have noticed the computer crashing. I thought maybe it was because it was outdated and drivers in such needed to be updated. After maintaining the updates it still would reset and restart every so often. As of yesterday a completely shut off and was unable to load Windows. It continued to start restart over and over and over again. I'm having a guy look at it right now and he ruled out bad memory, and he also ruled out a bad solid state drive. He thinks it might be a bad CPU. As of right now the computer is under diagnostics and a computer lab and the guy has no idea what's going on with it. With a computer that is less than 2 years old and has paid over $1,000 for it should not be having these kind of problems. Especially when all I do is play three to four computer games. I don't even do an awful lot of web searching on that computer it is pretty much specifically for gaming I don't even let my kids touch it. So if it is a hardware problem which it looks like it is then I got sold a computer that had faulty parts. The last computer that I had lasted for 10 years with a couple of updates here and there. Nothing like this has ever happened to me it's such a short period of time with an expensive item like this

worst experience by far
on november i ordered a new desktop, some monitors, keyboard..well the desktop wasn’t working and after spending some hours on the phone ( with you and ASUS) and some more on chat with you ( desktop wouldn’t power on) amazon sent me a replacement.guess what the replacement didn’t work either. this time it power on but wouldn’t boot. again spent countless hours on chat and on the phone going through troubleshooting with ASUS and Amazon. ( well over 10 hours)and at the end i was advised by amazon to send it to ASUS for repair.now ASUS tried at first to make me pay for shipping and after complaining they sent me a fedex shipping label.By the way every time i was on the phone with amazon or ASUS i offered to do some sort of video conference so they can see what im seeing.( they couldn’t do that) also i sent videos and pictures.fedex said than the desktop was delivered on dec 23 to ASUS.ASUS status on their website is: Service center has received your request and is waiting for your product to arrive. as of jan 2ndjan 2nd i spoke on the phone with ASUS and they confirm than FEDEX delivered on dec 23, but they have to escalate it to the repair facility to see why it wasn’t updated. i asked for an email confirmation of that. i’ll be calling again on monday and after that i will contact amazon if i don’t have an acceptable answer.so far i was promised many things like 10 days repair max. or my money back. but all i have is extra work.i’ve paid for an item a month ago and i got nothing on top of that feels like im working for amazon or ASUS because everyone washed their hands.and this is the short storyUpdate on Jan 6 they changed the status to:(Repairing) Thanks for your inquiry! Your product is in the process of diagnosis / repairAnd no I didn’t call Amazon yet( I guess I’m tired of this)Last update i received it back on jan 12..... the repair ticket said: than disassemble and reassemble solved the issue.... but its working now.nothing of this should have had happened from the beginning. so i keep the 1 star.quality control: poorcustomer support: poorcommunication : poor

Seems to be a good mid range gaming system
I generally build my own PC's, but I bought this system because I needed a new GPU. With the GPU market right now, it was spend $700 or $800 to a scalper for a 2070 or buy a whole brand new PC for $1400. I opted for the latter as it was a general upgrade. It's the first PC I've bought prebuilt in 20 yrs.Yes, there are a few things I'd change. You'd get more USB Ports if you built one yourself as most mobos provide more than this comes with. Most cases have more front USB ports, but I'll leave out the whole discussion on if it's better to build your own or not, there. Right now, with GPU prices the way they are, I found this to be a good buy. I've had it a few months now and it's performing well. I'm happy with the speed and it's worked perfectly.Perhaps of less importance to some, it does look nice. The lights are bight, but not TOO bright. It's just a real nice looking case and RGB set up.
