These rubber pales look like they will last a lot longer then my plastic pales. They are heavier then the plastic ones, but a lot stronger.

I was greatly relieved when I found these on Amazon.I have used hard-rubber, semi-flexible pails like these for decades; but they dont last forever; so I panicked when they got impossible to find locally.These are rubber similar to rubber tire manufacturers use but this blend weathers better. These pails smell and feel like tires, so if you prefer the textured tactile sensation of vulcanized rubber and dont mind the "new-tire smell" this deal's for you.

I bought this bucket for the boat because it is rubber and won't scratch or dent anything. If you kick it by accident it won't break a toe. If you want to cool off you can tie a 1/4 line to it and fetch a pail of water. My primary reason for having a good buket on board is for bailing out water in case of, well I don't know why I might need to bail but it seems like a good idea. The best thing I have started doing with it is to put the steel anchor in it for storage. This bucket is very strong and stable and MADE OF RUBBER! Get one or two for your boat.

This bucket is incredibly well-made and very durable but as others have posted it REEKS of its rubber/petroleum compound. I left it outside for four days and the smell barely dissipated. I wanted this for a kitchen compost bucket and there is no way I could have this smell filling my kitchen. It is intense.

Great for hauling water out to the animals. Wish i would have bought two smaller ones instead of a large one though. Since prices are so similar it would have cost me almost double though.

The quality build of this pail exceeds any I've ever owned. Handle is reinforced from below. Nice chore bucket and easy to clean. This rugged pail needs time to off-gas before use otherwise it stinks of petrochemicals.
