This code reader is really nice to use, its decently fast, and tells you what the codes mean. In my experience I haven't been able to get the special features to work, but that could be due to the vehicles I have tried to use them on. Its really nice for at home use or if your a starting mechanic. I like all of the features that it offers and plan on learning more about it!

I cannot say that I dislike anything with this analyzer!It comes in a very nice case which is form fitted to the unit. A mesh pocket holds the provided charging cord,Booklet and a handy card with the owner info on it .The OBD-II dongle is storedinside the bottom and locks in place . There is an integral handle with strap to help you hold it . There are two USB ports on top under protective cap.Start up and initialization was fairly easy, the instructions are clear . The Booklet is very detailed and informative, but you must read it!Operationally ...it is easy to use. It recognized my automobile within a few moments and displayed the VIN#, engine type, and Make/ model.The Thinktool mini provided reams of data .It showed that I have a faulty left front tire pressure monitor . The sending unit is bad. I was able to order a replacement.It took 6 minutes give me a complete operational profile of how my car' monitoring system is functioning. It gave live data while I was on a test drive.There is a learning curve. You have to search to find out what certain codes mean ,and you can't print directly from the unit to a network printer. Only prints to a companion printer that must be purchased separately . However ...it will allow you to email all available data and codes to your own email where it can be printed up and taken to your mechanic for further diagnosis and repair. It also allows for you to reset re occurring but intermittent codes .Good feature!To me ...it is a worthwhile purchase.

Been fighting for a couple years with them. Tech service is one guy, who is new cause everyone else quit, is a little helpful that he will talk and try to help. Problem is no one else will call. All email communication and English(typing) isn’t that great and they keep saying I must have bought a knock off, but serial number and the company I bought it from says it’s their actual scannerTakes a few days to go back and forth and almost every email says the same thing. Where did I buy it, what’s the serial number and they are so sorry I have problem.Emailed me into the $49 a year “upgrade” for my specific 2013 Chevy Silverado. Still doesn’t work so they now want video to make sure I’m using their productI wasted over $400 so I hope none of you will do the same.I’ve tried the YouTube videos and most seem to brag it upI’m trying to reset my alcohol content, which it should do but I can’t even get to the screens to do thatHope this helps and avoids frustration and loss of your hard earned cash

I had purchased the item and its a great product . I failed to ask questions before I purchase. Had I known that some of the features would not work on my car I would have bought a different one. Lesson learned

I switched from a manual entry scanner to this suppose auto detect the VIN number. It did worked fine for my BMW but on my Benz 2007 C230 did not detected the VIN, then when asked to enter the VIN manually it also was not able to detect it. I called tech support and the primary answer was that vehicle not supported. The question how many other are not supported. I like to add that if you go to enter this vehicle manually asking questions then then works I think!, in this case of Benz ( so far I don’t know if any other have the same problem), there some weird numbers you need like 203.054 etc.. this number is nit evident for you to have, so you need to spend time in the net researching, something that I did not like it.

Probably one of the best values for a code scanner on the market. Easy to use and will read every system on your car.

You have to learn how to use it and it can save you a lot of money
