Nancy Drew Classic Paper Dolls

I am an avid paper doll collector. I also love nancy Drew, so I thought this would be nice to add to my collection. However I am disappointed that the "dolls" are just printed on the back cover. There are no perforations to punch out the dolls, nor are the dolls already die-cut for you. There are no stands for the dolls. Due to the way the dolls are just part of the back cover, and there is no way to stand them up, it would be very difficult to play with them. The clothes on the other hand are beautiful, and on very nice acid free, sturdy paper. Also the clothes have, '30's, '40's, or 50's printed on the tabs, to let you know which era Nancy would have worn the clothes. One of each of the three dolls on the back cover is from each era. It's just too bad they couldn't have included real dolls with stands. For this reason, I could not give this item five stars.

My granddaughter is a huge Nancy Drew fan so I purchased this as part of her 8th birthday gift! She was very excited! I agree with other reviewers that it's a shame the dolls are printed on the back of the printed story and that there are no pre-cut lines. But the paper dolls were a hit!

Lovely paper dolls. But to cut them out on the back side you lose the story that is on the inside cover.

This book was of intererst not only to me but to my doll club group and to the owner of my favorite antique store. I learned about the different artists who illustrated the books that I and then my daughter so loved as young girls. The styles changed over the years and it was interesting to be able to see this in the book as three different views of Nancy.

This was a birthday gift and will be treasured. We have a Nancy Drew Collector.

The paper dolls were a big hit with the young lady I bought them for. It was fun to introduce her to paper dolls. I used to play with them all the time as a child.

This was a gift for my sister-in-law who is a big Nancy Drew fan.She was very pleased.If you're a collector, this item would be a great addition.
