Under the Midnight Sun: The Ascent of John Denver Peak and the Search for the Northernmost Point of Land of Earth Hardcover – 1 Oct. 2002

Whilst this book is reasonably well-written, I found it a somewhat disjointed narrative about a team of people intent on exploring the northernmost land on earth. Perhaps that's due in part to the three different authors. It's not a part of the world many people will know, and the book is crying out for a detailed map of the area the team explored, to show the main locations of interest, which would include the mountains the team successfully climbed. The two 'maps' which are provided in the book just don't provide the level of detail required.
