Quality tie-out
I bought this tie-out in June of 2016 and I'm still currently using it. My dog is around 60 pounds and was a very good escape artist and had managed to chew through or break previous tie-outs, which is why I went with this one for 125-pound dogs. She went blind around a year ago so she's been a lot less hard on it this past year but we live in Michigan and the winter weather isn't exactly forgiving. Yes, the plastic covering will eventually break, that doesn't mean the tie-out is broken. Yes, it will get tangled, it's a long rope made of wire, untangle it. I keep the end I clip to the dog on a hook outside my back door, not on the ground, and it's covered by an overhang and I haven't had any issues with it rusting. The other end that is exposed to the elements has rusted but I don't use the clip, I looped it through itself around a post on my deck so I didn't have to worry about the clip failing. Definitely going to buy another one of these as I consider 5+ years of use for such a low price well worth it.

Good tough leads stand up to goats. Multi-season/year use. Hardy, durable.
UPDATE:Bought another one this year. Looks a little fancier, is a little more supple. Still works amazing! My older leads are all in good working order, despite having left them out over winter (oops)... and pretty much every season all year long... And keeping 100-150lb goats where I need them, despite their best escape attempts. Would absolutely continue to buy these! Someday I'll need to replace my abused ones, but having a few more around would be handy. I keep one in the trailer to keep the goats in place during transit, I've used them as clothes drying lines, I've even used them to bring down hay bales from the top of the stack from a safe distance. Love em!I use these to tie my goats out for select grazing. They work wonderfully. I normally get the 60-100lbs cords (various brands), even though the goats are 150lb~. They have always done well, but the goats are excellent at making tiny knots and tight kinks, which after a year of twisting, knotting, weathering, and tugging, they start to degrade- and reasonably so. So I went with a heavier duty this time, hoping it would reduce kinking and knotting. So far so good. The boys have spent a full day on the lines without a knot or tangle. If I ever have a problem I'll be sure to update my review, but so far I'm very satisfied!

Great Quality Cable Tie Out for My 50 Pound Aussie Mix!
This tie out is great. I have been using it for a few months now for m 50 pound Australian Shepherd Mix. I use this tie out along with a ground stake when I let her out to do her business and also just to let her get some fresh air on sunny afternoons.I purchaesd this tie out cable along along with the Boss Pet - Prestige Dome Stake 21" - Color May Vary, and the combination works great for my girl. The dome top of the stake allows for the cable to swivel 360 degrees all the way around, and she does not get caught up on things. We do not have a fenced in yard, and I cannot leave my dog unleashed because she likes to sprint (that's the Aussie in her!) when she sees or hears something. This stake and tie out allows her to have more outside time. She can have some outside time alongside my two girls without me having to worry about her running into the street. Sometimes, she does forget she is leashed, and she will try to run at full speed, and she always stopped when she reaches the end of her 25 feet! This cable is plenty strong enough to hold her back from the force when she tries to take off running. It is a great product, and I think the 25 feet is the perfect length to give my dog some freedom while keeping her close by. I am really happy with this product.

Easy to see in the grass, great for short periods in our un-fenced front yard. Needs heavier snaps
I use a tie out cable only occasionally when I am out in the (unfenced) front yard and want the hands free company of a dog. Our old cable finally frayed after six years and this one is the replacement. I like the lighter weight of this cable - it doesn't drag against the collar and my dogs don't feel tied up. The reflective coating on this one is easy to see in the green grass and brown fall leaves - plus the bright orange stops at each end are very easy to spot.I'm using this with dogs ranging from 55lbs to 90lbs and it's holding up fine. That being said, I absolutely never leave my dogs on any sort of tie unsupervised or alone for even a minute. It's not safe and a dog living on a chain can develop behavior and aggression problems. My guys just hang out with me while I do yard work and this tie out cable allows them to be with me safely with no risk of chasing a squirrel into the street. The snaps on this are a bit weaker than I actually like - I replaced them with a heavy duty pair of bull snaps from the local feed store.

indistructable light cable tie out lead
I can not put into words how much this lead has made my life almost normal again. I'm a 79 year old lady w/walker who found a little puppy and decided to give it a forever home. Well that 4 week old puppy started growing and growing and I don't have a fenced in yard and wouldn't just let her out on her own so my growing puppy had to stay in the house and use puppy pads she was then 40 pounds. Then my granddaughter mentioned a lead and I found this lead on Amazon, it's light weight and 28 feet long with a well attached clip at each end she has tried to chew through it many times and didn't succeed (she's app. 50 lbs. now and 6 months old). Now she goes out 4 or 5 times a day we're both happy and folks if you have a large puppy or dog your crazy if you don't look into this product. <><
