Works perfectly
Worth the money 💰. Cleaner way to change fluids in any automobile. Can use to fill or drain. Built to last, great addition to my toolbox. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Highly recommend product and seller.

Great invention!
I work as a professional mechanic and change a lot of oil throughout the day. This product has made replacing the vertical oil filters much less messy and has made my day at work much more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the same boat or a diy guy to save the mess. I love small business products! Thank you!NOTE: You need to get a 5/8" ID hose for the end so the oil does not go all over your arm. Do not try and use this with the cap closed to catch all the oil. As the oil udder fills up with oil it becomes impossible to spin the filter, especially in a confined space (say on an LS style oil filter). So use with about 18" of hose and drain the oil out while you spin the filter off. Works even on Toyota cartridge style filters.

Functions as described.
This is a quality made product and functions as described. Oil filter service is less messy using the utter. I like that it has a magnet that secures the oil filter.

Works as advertised, but clean-up is a pain
I have a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7L, the truck that helped to inspire this product. After receiving my Oil Udder this week, I set out to complete my first oil change with the tool today. If you are careful, have the front of the vehicle up on ramps so you can sit upright in the space between the radiator support and the engine, AND have a drain hose attached running down to a drain pan, you can indeed get that bugger of an oil filter off the engine without spilling dirty oil all over yourself, the truck, or your driveway. I still recommend putting down some cardboard or a large oil drip pan because accidents can happen, but it did the trick for me.The problem is cleaning out the Oil Udder when you’re done with the job. There are parts inside the tool not easily accessible to your fingers and a rag, so there is oil trapped inside that’s not going to be removed easily. Of course, the drain hose you attach will also have some oil inside as well. You can get this rig sort of clean, but it isn’t going to be ‘spic and span’’. They recommend against using stuff like brake parts cleaner or carburetor cleaner because it will attack the material the Oil Udder is made of. So the best you can do is leave the thing upside-down on your workbench and let it drain into an old rag. I guess that’s not awful compared to the experience of removing one of these oil filters without the tool, but it could stand to be improved upon.

Funnel should be larger in diameter
Great idea, but ! If your filter is at an angle it can be pretty messy. Both funnels would be more functionable if they were an inch larger. Just my opinion.

The best and cleanest oil filter removal tool
I bought this to change the filter in my Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi. Ram placed the filer in a near-impossible location for those who don't know, and when you do reach it, the oil falls all over without fail. This device has made filer changes much cleaner. The magnet inside the device is very strong and holds the filter in place while pulling the filter out. I highly recommend this device, especially for those with Ram 1500 5.7 liter Hemis.

Excellent for LS motors.
Used it a few times, and it is well worth it. The magnet could be a little stronger for use on filters with coatings. Overall, very happy.

Not one drop spilled.
My engine cover takes mechanics with a ramp some time to take on and off.Under my rhino ramps at home, there is no way that I could get it back on or off without a fight. So it stays put. It has a tight, very deep recess where the oil filter lives. My hand plus the filter was too tight a fit when getting it down through the opening in the cover.Normally I had a 50% chance of dropping the filter up there inside the cover - with it leaking everywhere. So I added a one-foot-long solid shaft to extend the udder. After loosening the filter with a fifteen-flute oil filter wrench, I used the soft rubber on the udder to grab and rotate the filter a little more, and then once it was free-spinning, the magnet in the udder took over.Down it came on the shaft, with the oil still in the filter, and no old oil spilled, not one drop. When it came time to pull the filter away from the udder, the filter pulled away easily from the magnet. This tool is well thought out and well made.It makes a vast difference to what used to be a very messy business. Thanks so much, guys.
