Wonderful book exploring the foods of Senegal. The recipes were great and not complex. The pictures were so vivid, I felt like I was there !!!

Being a massive foodie who is equally passionate about creating all sorts, this book is just perfect. This book has brought back childhood memories of summers spent in senegal and now I'll be able to recreate all those wonderful deliciousness I fell in love with. The pictures are beautiful! Pierre Thiam's Theibou Jenn aka Fish Jollof rice aka benachin is as original and beautiful as it gets. If you love Senegalese/Gambian food, the recipes as well as the background story to each will move you! If you are simply curious, you'll be learning heaps ❤️

This was a nice gift to a friend who had spent time in Senegal as part of his studies. He really missed the food and loved the book full of recipes and photos!!

Bought this book for my Brother after our recent trip to Senegal. It is beautifully presented and has some lovely photos. Oh, great authentic recipes.
