Surprisingly Sturdy & Compact
I absolutely LOVE these notebooks! I've never been able to find a planner that has everything that I would like, so I a year ago I picked one of these up from Barnes & Nobles to use as a bullet journal. Like I said, it has been a year and I've hardly filled half the book. And that's with a calendar for the year, each month, and each week, plus several charts and lists for various projects. These notebooks are surprisingly sturdy and compact. Even the paper holds up an amazing amount. On two of the pages, I drew and erased (drew and erased, and drew and erased again and again) a design for a crochet project I was working on and the paper held up long past the point other papers would have worn away. I was really surprised. These are great for organizing information such as lists and charts, but especially anything where each section has to be the same, such as calendars.I recently bought a second of these notebooks to use as a reading notebook. I have a "form", I guess you could call it, for each book so I can keep information on the author, background info on the book, a list of characters, their traits & arcs, themes & motifs, and then any important quotes. But these are the kind of things this book is good for: lists, charts, and organizing information. Now I'm thinking of getting a third one to keep mythology and folklore studies in. The possibilities really are endless with these notebooks.

Excellent quality journal, be careful about the price
Lovely feel in hand; cover is sturdy yet flexible, with a satisfying texture. Paper is good quality, binding seems very solid. Note that the squares are 4mm, which is quite small.Dinged one star for price; the same book is available from other sellers for less money (although without Prime shipping the prices may level out- I bought mine at $12 and am satisfied).EDIT: March 2020There are two different types of these journals, those made in Spain (with a cursive-type logo) and those apparently made by Miquel Rius USA, with a block/rectangular logo. The cursive logo (such as on the blue cover book I purchased in 2017) is considerably better than the block logo; the cover is thicker and heavier, and unlike the other covers, does not curl in on itself (despite being pressed into place with weights, etc).I would gladly pay a premium to acquire more of the thicker cover notebooks, which seem to be getting hard to find! The blue cover has held up phenomenally through 2.5 years of regular use as my writing journal, and has been exposed to heat, cold, smoke, water, beer, and hundreds of journeys bouncing around in a bag or briefcase, without a hint of degradation. Conversely, a red and a black cover book (thinner cover) each wore through after a few months of daily use for work; the bindings seemed to be of lesser quality.

Nursing Notes
Get them at Barnes and noble, these are incredibly overpriced. They are $10 every day of the week and they run coupons all the time. Even the manufacturer charges less than half of the price here. But as far as the book itself goes, it's great. I have 27 of them π yeah. 1 for daily use and 26 on backup (exact number that fit on my this end up shelf)As far as I'm concerned it's the last notebook I'll ever need and I bought more than enough to get me from my ADN degree to Nurse Practitioner. And all of them cost less than taking my boards πThe first 182 pages were all that was needed to get me through all of medsurg 3. I really wish I had stumbled on these prior to my last class of Nursing school.Set it up as a book with a "Omnidex" in the front and a "microdex" for each system related subsection and cross link the info with an infinity sign and the pg number with a rectangle around it and it'll be the best study resource you've ever had (this from a person who used to take his MacBook to every class...)Also the lihit lab smart fit cover fits it perfectly.

Prefer over moleskine
Absolutely wonderful notebook, I use it daily. I love the graph paper. I love the page texture. It's simple and kind of thin but I like that. It's thick enough that you don't see much of your writing on the next page, just a faint glimpse.Fine point sharpies bleed through the page on the opposite side to one you're writing on but the sharpies do not bleed through to the next blank page as long as you don't write extremely heavily. I scribbled over one spot over and over, and then the sharpie bled through the next 3 pages. Copic also bleed into the next 3 pages if you hold down to let the ink release a lot. Not particularly a good notebook for coloring. Watercolor also bleeds through but surprisingly does not pill or wrinkle the page much. Very interesting, can be useful for that if you don't mind the 2-3 pages being bled through afterwards.Overall this notebook is a champ, and I love the cover feel. My first thought after a week of using this..."why waste my time with a moleskine when I could have this?" I could add my own pocket if I liked that element of the moleskine but I don't really care to.
