Q: What size photos go in each opening?

The photo in the center is a wallet size, and the rest are mini wallet size 1.75" x 2.5"

Q: I understand that the openings are tiny...but do I have to cut/trim down the regular size wallets to fit into those ovals openings?

The wallet size of my granddaughter's pics were a bit bigger than when my kids were in school, so, it did require a minimal trim. Nothing too drastuc though. The pic and the frame look very nice. We're pleased.Hope this helped!
