Update: I bought this charger in April and it appeared to die in October. It worked great - while it did work then it turned off. I messed with it for a while and it was the cord. It's a stiff, low budget cord. I'll replace it. I was sad to look here and see the charger is labeled, "Frequently Returned". I'm still using mine. I'm hoping it will keep working because it's a good chargerOlder review:This charger works. It also charges larger phones like the S23 pictured, in a case. I wasn't ready to take apart my console to wire one in, and I never use the lighter port anyway. It does warm my old iphone 12 pro a little, but not enough to make the phone turn charging off. My Samsung doesn't heat up at all. I think it's the battery age that may cause this. I'm happy! 🥳 It fits like a glove and it looks good. I'll report back if anything changes my opinion. So far, so good. 😃Update: I went on a 2 hour drive. My iphone 12 pro in a case and was in the 55% range when I started. It got to 83% at the end. It did get warm. It did NOT overheat. I wouldn't call this a fast charger by any means, but I don't mind, as my phone overheats on fast charging. The phone stayed on charge the entire time. Still super happy with this purchase.

I bought this item 11/25/22 and installed this immediately. I didn't use the adhesion, because its a perfect fit just placing in my '22 RAV. The charge isn't the fastest, but it's reliable and does the job at a steal of a price compared to Toyota's add-on option. I've noticed my charge is quicker lately as I'm using a magsafe case on my iPhone 15. I'm overall satisfied with the technologically advanced look, reliability, value, and upgrade. I notice this product has a "Frequently Returned" flag on it, and I just had to review, because it was not and remains not the case for me.

Finally installed this thing yesterday. Easy to install, fitment is decent & secure. It worked for the entire 42 mile drive to work, but lasted for 1 mile on the way home. Powers on, but no longer wirelessly charges my phone. Returning for refund.

This easy to install wireless charger fits perfectly in the empty slot in a 2024 Toyota Rav 4 perfectly. Although it requires the cigarette lighter socket, the charger also has a USB slot. Even though there is an on and off button, it automatically is on and ready for use when you start up the car.Because it requires no tools for installation, the dock sits loosely when not being used. While some other reviewers considered this as negative, I personally do not. It stays plugged in and if you need to remove the charger for any reason it is fast to do so.It does get warm when in use but it has never caused any of our phones to power off. It is slow to charge especially on a short trip like others have mentioned but I knew that going into purchasing this and have had that experience with a car charger in my previous vehicle. It is just nice to have a place to get a little extra charge in your phone or to leave charging when you are using a phone as a GPS.The only reason why I give this four stars is that it is not worth the price if it is not on sale.

Bought this product April 2023 and worked great in our 2023 RAV4 for our iPhones, but never worked for our air pods pro 2. Fast forward to a month ago, We noticed it was no longer charging. It was on, but wouldn't charge our phone, it would "work when it wanted to". Now it hasn't worked for over 3 weeks, it flashes green and won't charge our phones. So it worked great for 1 year and 7 months. Really don't want to have to spend another $70 when it might happen again. 3 stars for the time we had it because it was great and convenient.

I just installed this and it took a few seconds. It took a second to get it to "click" into place, but that wasn't really an issue. Some stated that they scratched their tray area while installing. That was not the case for me -- it almost seemed like you would have to work hard to make that happen. This looks almost as if it were factory installed. I put my iPhone X on there in a fully covered Otterbox Defender case and it starts charging immediately -- not a single issue, nor does it disconnect or move around while driving -- it's very stable and secure. A bonus feature that I didn't even realize while buying this is the additional USB port provided on the front right side (near the passenger) to plug in a cable if needed. It's an added bonus I didn't realize was there and is potentially more convenient than using the USB port inside the center console. It's a great product and I hope it holds up for the lifetime of the car.

It's very simple to install...plug in and slide it in. It made it easier for me to put the car in "Neutral" to slide the charger in. I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The extra size of the phone and the non-slip mat of the charger ensures the phone doesn't move from its position at all.I combined this charger with the Carlin Kit 2.0 for wireless CarPlay. Now all I have to do is sit the phone down and it automatically connects to CarPlay and charges without having to worry about cables. Perfect for my 2019 RAV4 XSE.

It doesn’t fit right in the are. Sometimes the charging stops at random times.
