Waste of time as 99% of it is noise
I bought this book after seeing James Rickards on Youtube, however, the majority of the book is just a load of noise with very few points made. For example he mentions a meeting that he attends, but instead of informing about this meeting he describes in detail the hotel in which the meeting was help, as I said most of this is noise. This is probably the worst book I have picked up in many years and can't recommend.

It's ok in the end
I'm a fan of Jim's work and other books but struggled with this.It reads as a selection of rants bookended with a few lines general financial commonsense you could learn anywhere.

Not as good as his other books like "The Death of Money"
I am currently half way through this book and unlike "The Death of Money" which had me hooked from the start, Aftermath has personally been a difficult read for me. Jim constantly uses long long stories from his life to relate to what is going on or may happen. I found myself skipping multiple pages to get to the point. I have the utmost respect for Jim and I currently receive his paid newsletters and listen to all his interviews but this so far has not been what I expected. I give it 2.5 Stars
