Compact, transmits clearly, connects to my phone quickly, and comes with an USB charging adapter
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Exactly what I needed for my car arrangement! It's simple, compact, and transmits effectively both via FM to my radio and via Bluetooth to my phone. The video shows how I set it up. My car has a cigarette/power adapter in the center console for back seat passengers. I used that.IN CASE YOU AREN'T SURE, HERE'S WHAT IT DOES: It connects to your phone with Bluetooth. Then it transmits the audio from your phone via Bluetooth to the Anker device, the Anker device then transmits that audio to your car radio via FM waves that your radio picks up. You tune your car radio to the same frequency you set the Anker device to use. The idea is you pick a frequency with nothing else on it. In a big city, it's tough to find one. Sometimes, you can use a weak station and the Anker transmitter will overpower it which works too.YOU CAN PICK ANY FREQUENCY - Before you get frustrated, note that you can cycle through stations in .1 increments, basically ANY station. Hold down the little "program" button in the upper-left corner, it blinks, use the up/down buttons to go through the frequencies.I have a cigarette lighter port in my backseat area. I prefer to use it for phone cables, etc. because I don't have to leave my ashtray open on the front console. I like things neat. So, with this transmitter, I can plug the USB adapter into that outlet in my backseat, run the wire along the side of the armrest, and place the tiny control unit in my center console. Very neat and clean. See video. The control unit comes with a magnetic mount in the form of a metal disc with 3M two-sided tape that you attach to something and then the control unit just magnetically attaches to the disc. I don't like sticking things to my car so I didn't use it but if you are okay with that, it's very small.Oh - it comes with a tiny car charger adapter that fits flush into your cigarette lighter port. Nice touch.I didn't test the speakerphone capability. The place I put it probably isn't great for the mic.No, I didn't receive this free. No, I don't work for Anker. I am just so happy to finally find the perfect solution.UPDATE 8/27/2017: Now using it with Android Auto on my phone. Works great!

Good FM, Great Bluetooth, Great Solution
This transmitter looks great and works perfectly. Bluetooth to FM is never an ideal solution, but when FM is your only option for aux input then this seems like luxury! It works very well for both bluetooth and FM. The ability to put the transmitter directly on your dash is not only convenient but it gets it closer to your radio for better FM reception. The bluetooth reception is actually too good for me as I stay connected inside my house and my 12v ports don't turn off with the car, but that is hardly a complaint. It easily reattached to bluetooth when it turns back on, or in my case by pressing the phone button. As with any transmitter, you need to set your phone volume all the way up or just one notch down if it is distorting. Then set the volume with your radio. It will need to be set higher than for other radio stations, but that is normal and unavoidable. It secures to your dash with a small magnetic puck that sticks to your dash. I didn't realize this until after I put it on the dash, but it holds tight and allows me to take the transmitter with me or out of the car easily when needed. The charger it comes with is actually very useful. It has two ports so you can use this and charge your phone, but it also charges your phone really well. This turned me on to Aukey chargers and they work as well and Anker and have some better or different options.I'd highly recommend this transmitter if you have to use FM.

Decent, and great customer service!
Edit: After I left this review, the seller contacted me and offered a replacement product. Their replacement product has a seemingly stronger transmitter, and also remembers the frequency after a power loss. It's a different model, located here: https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Adapter-Auxiliary/dp/B01LYXL0D2I'm going to leave this at 3 stars, because I think it's a three star product. BUT, I'm super impressed by the Aukey customer service, and appreciate that they went the extra mile to help me out. I'll review the replacement product separately.Original review below:I used this for most of the past 6 months.I like the size and shape - it doesn't look like it is trying to be something crazy and super high tech like many similar products. It got the job done. The FM transmitter was not bad, but even on my cleanest station I would get some static from time to time. This is local to my area, but I've recently tried a competing product that does not have this problem. However, the competing product seems to have a truly awful microphone for hands free operation. So although music sounds great with the competing product, it's useless for hands free phone calls. The reason I started to look for another product was that I replaced my car with one that shuts off power to the 12v lighter port whenever the car is turned off. And this product will NOT remember the FM frequency when it loses power. Also, the 12v USB adapter it comes with gets knocked out of contact with the 12v power port super easily. It's as if it is never really in deep enough. This was true for both my cars.It does, however, make really good handsfree calls. No one ever complained about call quality on the other end when I was using this device.

Dollar for dollar, probably the best option
This product isn't perfect, but that isn't the products fault. The only problem is that you can never get a perfect signal with a transmitter. I have noticed if you can get the transmitter up towards the rearview mirror it clears the signal up significantly. Otherwise the product is great. High quality and function as has been the case with everything I've bought that was Aukey to this point. Also kind of awesome that you get the flush mount cig lighter plug instead of just some hard wired cig lighter adapter. I was going to buy one of those anyways so it just made the decision to order it that much easier, and it's versatility is that much greater.
