The white one is QLC, the dark one is TLC. QLC means each cell of the NAND flash can store 4 bits per cell, TLC means 3. TLC tends to be faster and can last longer.

The speed difference is big but only if your motherboard and CPU can handle it. Don't expect PS5 lighting quick load times though as combination direct drive like ssds found on the Xbox series X for the pc anytime soon though as Microsoft want to push console sales for at least a year maybe more if the economy gets worse as consoles are war cheaper than a pc or laptop here for just gaming alone.

Pcie 6.0 will have the combination ram/SSD designs by 2023 as Intel said in Soeul in 2019 as standard for this change now found in the next gen consoles now as itx and smaller designs for pc desktops are becoming a thing here for minimalistic looks and for a wireless desktop workstation set-up and for gamers too as the gpu and cpu become slowly more merged together like the SSD and ram chips have become for the consoles as there will a radical change in motherboard designs in the next 2-3 years for this GPU and CPU merge to occur here like seen on the consoles for smaller more mobile workstations like in and ryzen nuc with it's Apu.

Laptops might be phassed out for foldable phone/PCs depending on how the surface neo and lenovo foldable does once the SSD ram and cpu and gpu both merge on the pc side for things to get rid for unnecessary clutter here. The batteries though are the main problem still. They need to last for 30 days on full 100 power cpu gpu ram SSD draw for this to become a fully wireless mobile PC world though.
