Innovation Results in An Outstanding Product
This product is an example of why I love to shop on-line.If I hadn't been able to browse such an extensive list of product selections on Amazon, I doubt I would have ever found this, and I LOVE it.I am a very "picky" shopper (well, discriminating, savvy, well-informed…these would be nicer ways of describing my shopping habits). I take my time before I spend my money and I don't hesitate to return unsatisfactory products. My intention had been to purchase a carrier for my old "traditional" yoga mat, but when I saw this, I IMMEDIATELY knew this would be a much more effective solution to my dilemma of carting around an unwieldy roll-up mat.Now I DON'T HAVE to "roll up" the mat.Now I don't have to worry about which side is "up," and which is "down" (it's two-toned).The carrying case is compact and convenient. The color is a pleasant neutral. The dimensions are generous (why don't more manufacturers offer a larger size?).The "feel" of the mat is perfect: it gives a nice "grip" beneath your feet, yet is almost cushiony or spring-y.Everyone who sees it asks me where I got it.Yes, it IS more expensive than other yoga mats, but this is one of those cases where cost does matter i.e. cost reflects the quality of the materials and construction and design and user-friendly features--you get what you pay for. Said before, still applies. (I love a bargain but I also hate to pay ANYTHING for what is flawed, shoddy, etc.)I am confident that my YoFoMat® PRO will hold up to more than a few years of use.Thank you, Khataland, for this new/modern/improved version of a traditional product.I am VERY satisfied with this purchase, and very pleased that Amazon offers such a wide range of products, making it possible for customers to find products from smaller companies offering better products. (Whew! How many times can one use the word "product" in one sentence?)D o y o u r s e l f a b i g f a v o r a n d b u y t h i s y o g a m a t i f y o u u s e o n e o n a r e g u l a r b a s i s.It is exponentially superior to anything else out there!

Love-hate relationship
Love this mat! I love that I can pack it in my suitcase and have it with me when I travel. I leave it out and open in my hotel room and it helps to inspire me to do yoga every morning. I love threat it folds and that the "bottom" never touches the "top".Into my daily yoga practice, I get beyond irritated that this mat is SO slippery. I have washed it, wiped it down, used it, sweat on it, wiped it down after every use, and let it air dry. Still my feet slip in any of the warrior poses and it's almost comical how quickly this mat "encourages" me from downward dog into a face-planted shavasana (?spelling).I give this mat more stars because of its inspiration for me to practice daily. If I were to base this review solely on the yoga-induced rage I experience during my practice, there would be negative stars. A black hole, if you will.I am returning this mat and am getting a Jade Voyager mat. Namaste.

My knees don't hurt when I use this mat (I think it has something to do with the density of the material) even though it is thin
I was looking for a mat that was more cushioned because my knees would hurt in certain kneeling yoga poses. I researched and was looking for a thicker mat, but noticed that the pro mats for most brands were not as thick as others. With the added benefit of folding the mat without exposing the usable mat side to the side of the mat that touches the floor, I took a chance at ordering this mat even though it wasn't as thick as some of the others I'd seen available. It is exactly what I wanted. My knees don't hurt when I use this mat (I think it has something to do with the density of the material) even though it is thinner than the mat I had before and the mat sticks to the floor better than the mat I had. My hands do slide when in certain positions, but I have a mat towel that I use that helps that issue and from what I've read the mat should get better with use anyway. Would and have recommended this mat to other yoga enthusiasts.

Great rocky or snow-covered ground shooting mat!
As a precision rifle shooter who must lie on whatever surface is available, including small rocks, spiky vegetation, mud, ice, or snow, a little protection is a must. Although this mat is somewhat heavier than I’d prefer when carried, and I may cut it down a little in the future, it’s resistant to being blown by the wind and its dense material provides a remarkable degree of cushioning and insulation for the amount of room it takes folded up in a pack. The other things I like are its size that’s large enough to protect most of my body, its inconspicuous dark green color, and the fact that after use the dirty surface is folded inside. I recommended it to another shooter and we both think it’s a great product.

Nearly perfect
This is a super durable, thick, long, wide, mat. It is my mat of choice because of its plushiness and coverage and it's easy to fold up. It is a tiny bit slippery under the hands upon first uses- that is going away (probably could be user error with my balance/weight distribution as well!) I originally purchased it for travel (protection from those nasty hotel room floors) and I think it will be great for that-- if I ever take the plunge and lug it along... it's HEAVY. A great purchase for home, not as sure about travel.

Good design, but...
I had high hopes for this mat. Ordered it unseen, due to cool design, how it folds and such and keeps the side that you contact clean. But I could feel the hardwood floor with my knees on this mat. It is either not dense enough or not thick enough. Has a bad smell, too. Very disappointed. The box also came crushed a bit. It wasn't bad, but when I tried to return it in the original box, FedEx told me I have to buy a new box to ship it in. Adding that to the shipping cost, I would have wasted half of the purchase price. Makes me think I should've bought the Manduka lite instead.

The Jury is Still Out....
I'm a yoga novice who needed a decent travel mat. Nice size, cushioning is about what you'd expect in a foldable mat, travel bag is neat. Still trying to decide if it's going to be usable. Initially very slick during my first few workouts once I started to sweat. A dozen uses later it's starting to feel a bit more "grippy". Will check back in a few more weeks.
