I am “Happily” providing a review for the product: VANELC Bug Zapper, Mosquito Killer, USB Rechargeable Electric Fly Swatter Racket Zap for Home, Outdoor, Pest Insects Control, Safe to Touch with 3-Layer Safety MeshI have attached a picture.I opened the box and the device was readily available. It turned on and immediately the LED light was ready for action. I have zapped a couple of bugs: quick and easily. It also comes with a small brush to clean in between the zapping area. I have placed it to charge, with the device on and I heard a bug or two get zapped. So, it not only works by you handling the device, but with you also having it standing on its own cradle (included). I’m soooo happy with my device.

I get a lot of flying critters due to my cats need to go in and out the house. This thing has helped to get rid of the flies. Its easy to use and kills them immediately. When I'm done I just tap it on the side of the garbage can and the dead flies drop off. Its a life saver!!!

This caught only a couple of flies so I was disappointed by that. What ‘bugged’ me was that it took several hours to charge and then was only functional for an hour or so in the passive mode when not plugged in. I thought my unit might have been defective so returned it for a new one only to have the same issue. The base was very cheap/lightweight and when the unit was in the base it was very easily knocked over. That combined with the short charging cord made this far more in the way than useful. Returned.

I live out in the country where the bugs eat me alive after 10 min on my back porch. This bug zapper is amazing I love how it’s chargeable and it comes with a little holder so we literally stick it right on the table and can enjoy an evening on the porch without soaking ourselves In bug spray . It is very loud when bugs flys in it lol it definitely scared us at first but other than that it’s definitely worth it I will be purchasing 2 more for the bar area

Bugs were DEFINITELY NOT attracted to the light and it was definitely harder than using a basic flyswatter - which is much lighter and easier to control. I found myself “chasing” after flies and swatting thru the air to hopefully hit one - only to have the zapped bug get back up and fly again. Sometimes having to sway the same fly3 times!! Also after 1 week of using it would no longer charge and/or work. Item was returned.

Worked great, loved it, but stopped working after a week or two. I think this may be common with this type of thing. This is my second purchase with same outcome even though different models and manufacturers.
