Shop FoxW1888 10" Hybrid Table Saw With Riving Knife, White

Going from a portable table saw, everything about this table saw is better. It's a dream. Only one issue, after running for the first 5 minutes, it started smoking. To find out the drive belt came loose. I had to figure out how to change the belt to put it back in. Luckily the belt didn't melt the tracks. Once I got it put back on and bolt tightened correctly, it runs smooth and quiet. The equipment is top quality, the QA needs to do a better job before it goes out.

Used in my wood shop. Very nice addition to my collection of cool tools.

I received the saw and the packing looked okay. When I removed it, the table was bent, and the whole adjusting mechanism for the saw was broken off. Trying to get a replacement is a terrible experience. I am still trying to get a replacement several weeks later. Amazon says go threw dealer and dealer says go threw Amazon. What a terrible time. There was no problem taking my money, but standing behind the saw and delivery seems to be very difficult for both parties. I would have been better to go to a local home depot or Lowes. And to beat all, it was a birthday present for my son.

Disappointing purchase. Under performs my previous 1 1/2 horse. Under performs either of my two contractor saws. Customer service from Grizzly is non existent. Buy a hair dryer and call it a table saw. At least it will be wired with adequate size wire for the job.
