Tank arrived on time. Packaging satisfactory. Filling no problem. After filling manageable moving from one location to another. Will buy another in future.

New tank with quality OPD and construction. Solid finish and design. Great for increased capacity storage and generator use. Has standard quick connect for hand tighten adapter from your grill or generator.

The propane tank arrived on time, and has a date on it. That is only four months old. The box was a little beat up, but acceptable since it’s a heavy item.

The tank arrived in good shape... I am curious, is it normal for the tank to not have any labelling? IE, there is nothing on the tank that alludes to it being a Flame king tank. This bothers me a little as this could be a Non-Flame King tank and how would you know? It came with an inspection sticker on the handle that states purged and ready for filing and a sticker that states it has overfill protection. That's it folks... Confused here...

I have a dual-fuel 13kW generator that can operate on gasoline or propane, and I want to always have fuel on hand to run it in case of an emergency. I'm not interested in storing gasoline long-term, but propane is very easy to store. I've picked up a couple of these propane tanks and I have them filled at Tractor Supply, and then I store them outside on the porch. They're solidly made with good, tight valves that come with a dust cover for protection when not in use. They can be a little awkward to lift or move around when they're full if you're not accustomed to that, but i have a couple of them so I'm used to it. With a tank this size, my generator can run most all day at half load. I'll probably pick up a couple more of these.

Got a 40 LB tank nov. 2024. They shut off our power when it gets windy now and I purchased a generator off of Amazon and this larger tank will feed it for about 2+ days. I am going to buy a second tank so I have a strong back-up. Very happy with 40lb tank. Thought about getting a 100lb tank, but saw another review and he mentioned how heavy 100lb tank would be.. yep.. i am sticking with the 40lb.
