Q: Does this case have a manufacturer warranty?

Honestly I don't know but I didn't think it did. Sorry I can't help you any better. I purchased this for an out of state employee and I didn't get to see what was included.

Q: Will the smart card reader work with military CAC ?

Yes. The Case is built to support a CAC. The cool thing is that it doesn't take up a USB port - the case extends that separately so you don't lose a port. On the downside, the case is relatively annoying. The hand strap is really not of value and the case isn't hardened as much as the other Incipio cases (a bit flimsy). It also doesn't have the keyboard corner holder so an attached keyboard flops around.
