These are exactly what I wanted for hanging coats and sweater coats in the hall closet. I was a little bit worried that the shoulders would be too wide and take up too much space but that is not the case. They certainly aren't slim hangers but they are strong, well made, smooth, and the swivel hook is handy - also the hook so far seems to be attached really well. We've all had hangers where the coat ends up on the floor and the only thing left on the rod it the hook - these are not those. Well worth the price and they look great, too. I purchased one set to see if I liked them and immediately purchased another because they are really nice hangers. They came wrapped individually which also was a nice touch to keep them from damaging one another. The only tiny tiny improvement I'd make is to have some sort of tiny nonslip gripper at the top of the hanger so it would not be easy for smooth fabric things, like down coats and scarves to slip off the hanger, but that is a very small deal. I spent a long time looking at hangers (I did get carried away comparing high end hangers which cost as much as a small car) and these seemed like a great middle ground and frankly I'd find it difficult to spend $60 on a single hanger when quality like these Clutter Mates are available.

I bought these hangers to see if they would keep my sweaters from developing the shoulder hanger pouch. And they DO!!! They are well made, smooth & sturdy. The metal hook and pant bar are both well made. There isn't a rough spot anywhere on the hanger. I loved them so much I bought a 2nd set of 6 and may have to get a 3rd! I saw similar hangers in Bed Bath & Beyond for 3 times the price.My only wish is that there were non-slip spots on the wide part of the hanger so my open cardigan sweaters didn't slip off. I solved this by using the material the hangers were wrapped in for shipment to wrap the ends of the hangers. My sweaters don't slip now. This isn't a permanent solution as the material tears easily but I'll figure something out.

All my suits come with their own (good) hangars...but my ski jackets dont! So i only trust these to hang my stash of ski jackets -- some of which remain in the closet many months between ski seasons. The fat ends really help the jackets keep their shape in the shoulders. Don't laugh...many ski clothing brands now make their jackets tailored fit, and so if i spend hundreds on them, i want them to last many years...including their tailored shape. Also, the slick wood does not snag the jacket material. I bought 24 of these to protect my investment in ski gear. You should too.

These hangers are not top-of-the-line hangers or anything, but they perform quite decently. I would recommend these for JACKET hanging only.What I do want to compliment them on is their superb customer service. The pants-hanger portion is not held on very well at some points, and it ripped off on two of my hangers. I did not want to bother with a return, but made my dissatisfaction known to them, and they handled my case with great aplomb.So like I said before, while I cannot give a strong recommendation for using them as suit hangers, my main purpose was to use them for jackets only anyway, and I cannot recommend them strongly enough, merely due to their superb customer service.

These are pretty good, I bought enough for all my blazers and suit jackets.Pros:1. Good price. I doubt anything cheaper is this good.2. Wide shoulders, your garment will be wrinkle-free.3. Rotating hook, always nice.4. Good construction quality. Fairly hard to break.5. The cross bar (trouser bar) is not covered in that crazy sticky plastic, which I count as a bonus. The crazy sticky plastic would prevent pants from falling, but it is upsetting to me on a visceral level.Cons:6. Not very pretty. Expect blemishes, imperfect wood grain, imperfect finish. They look good enough, but they didn't waste money making these beautiful.7. Because they are wide and the shoulders are swept forward, you cannot line these up back-to-back very tightly. This is a problem when they are empty, you will probably want to leave the empty hangers in a pile on a shelf, not taking up two feet of rod space. But once you put a suit on them, it doesn't matter anymore.

I was a little skeptical after seeing that some of the reviews for this product were from customers who got discounts in exchange for leaving one but went for it anyways. Not only was I satisfied, but I was completely blown away by the level of customer service and the quality of the hangers. First off I received a personal note minutes after ordering with instructions for direct contact should I have any issue with the product. The hangers arrived today and were absolutely perfect for my suits and sport coats, quality was great and I love the shape for preventing that "pinched" look on the shoulders. 10/10 would buy again.

The Clutter Mate wood hangers are excellent. The wood is perfectly smooth and the ends of the hangers are rounded to a perfect size that gives good support to heavier garments. No more crease marks from narrow hangers! We are very happy with them and recommend them without reservation.I'm sorry to say that I'm writing this on a train & cannot provide a photo now, but the photo that is provided in the seller information on Amazon is accurate.

For the price these hangers are perfect for my husbands suits, they hold heavy suits with ease. They are quite lightweight but they are strong and seem to be well made, the only concern I have is the hook that hangs feels a little cheap, but they are holding up perfectly fine... so for the money they are working well.
