Great shadow, goes on smooth, stays on.

This palette is super adorable, and the eyeshadows are excellent quality. The nine colors range from light neutral and dark tones and include a variety of shimmery/glittery effects. It's a versatile assortment that comes in handy on many types of occasions.Just like similar, higher end palettes I own, the eyeshadow is a tad looser than something you'd buy at, say, a pharmacy. I always tap my brush or sponge gently over the sink to remove excess powder before application. I often still end up with a few stray flecks, but that doesn't bother me as they come off easily with a cotton ball or q-tip. If you want to go the extra mile, I'm sure a primer would help, but I wouldn't say it's strictly necessary. I never use one, and these shadows still hold up very well for me over time. They barely fade after an evening out.As much as I love using the makeup, I have to admit the cover is my favorite part. It's so cute and colorful, and also shiny! It's magnetic and closes securely. There's a large mirror inside too. The palette is small enough for travel yet contains enough eyeshadow to last quite awhile. It arrived in perfect condition with a protective plastic cover over the makeup. All things considered, I believe the price is quite fair. This was a great first experience with this brand, so I'll definitely be checking out their other products!

It’s smudgy and hard to get on with a brush or fingertips. I will probably just wet a eyeliner brush and use it for that instead.

Very pretty colors but too glittery and dark for me. I returned this item.
