Could be great if the gate reseated properly after opening. Seems like every time I would open the gate to attach or remove a bungie from my kayak it would not seat properly on the frame. One time I did not notice and the carabiner came free from the kayak, luckily my pole was in my hand and not in the water at the time! A little better quality on the carabiner would be nice, but its still better than not having anything to keep your pole/paddle/net from sinking or floating away should you flip or lose your grip.

I was very pleased with these leashes. They have worked like a champ since I got them. The only negative is that the clip opening is very small.

Long enough to do the job but not so long as to get in the way of everything. I just put a couple of padeyes into the kayak and these work great to keep stuff with the yak in the event of a capsize. Cheap insurance for expensive fishing poles.

The product is not as pictured on Amazon. It is as pictured on the package, but that is not what I ordered. Cheap cheap materials on ends/connecting points. Returning for something better. If had been as pictured it would have been fine. No caribiner and no Velcro loop.

Have not had a problem, works just fine.

amazing already saved my gear a few times. no complaints here, I am going to be ordering another set for more fishing poles.

These leashes work as advertised. They are a must for paddlers.

They seem home made. Still glad I have them for the kayak though.

Picture does not reflect what was delivered. Recieved the Yak Gear unileash. No caribiner. Yak Gear makes great products regardless so I don’t care for going through the trouble of returning it.
