I bought this eye mask because I saw it listed on Amazon with the Avenova eye drops I purchase per eye specialist; although when I received the eye mask and read the instructions, I decided it wasn't necessary for my eye problems but it very well suits my spouse's eye care regimen so he's getting a lot of use out of it.

I LOVE it! Easy to use and so soothing. This will be a part of my nightly routine. And I chose this brand because my doctor had recommended another Avenova product which I use nightly for my eyes.

You can only heat it in the microwave for 20 seconds otherwise it’s too hot to put on your eyes, but it gets cool after about 10 minutes

This item is real "durable medical equipment". I had previously purchased their eye-wipe spray and was very pleased with that purchase. Before purchasing this item, I purchased another unbranded eye mask and returned it because it smelled so bad after heating it in the microwave. This Avenova Moist Eye Compress Mask once heated has no smell. This company is legit. If you are on the fence as to what to purchase, you need to go with Avenova!

EDIT: I was contacted by the company and issue is resolved. Will leave my original review just so people know not to expect to be able to use it with moist heat.Even though the product description says moist heat, it says not to get wet.

I have purchased this eye compress mask multiple times from this vendor and I have always been satisfied. Before I go to bed each night I use my headed mask to help open my tear ducts before cleaning my eyelids. This helps to reduce dry eye symptoms for me.

I have had to use warm compresses for a long time and have grown tired of the mess that a warm, wet washcloth creates. The FIRST time I tried this my eyes felt immediately better and I could tell that this worked MUCH better than what I had been using. Which I had bought this sooner!
