Best Joy-con I have used
I have adult sized hands, and I have tried all kinds of case attachments to bulk out the original Joy-cons and different 3rd party Joy-cons. The Hori split pad pro was the 'best' of them until I decided to try this lovely little thing out.First impressions: (just got it today, and playing Skyrim)OVERALL - This is what Nintendo should have done with the Joy-con at launchFEEL -The feel is so much better than the Split pad pro, for one it's not as big, and with all the features of a real Joy-con it has some weight to it and feels so much better. It's big enough to be comfortable and 'small' enough to get a good grip on it.RESPONSENESS -> The controls are tight, buttons are smooth and satisfying to press; the D-pad is solid. Motion controls are solid with quick response time.> Wake up function works just fine, and I have experienced no lag when detached from the console.> Vibration function works just fine.>The RGB lights turn off right away in sleep mode, and being able to change the brightness so consume less power is a nice touch.CON - This is more a nit-pick from me, the ZR and ZL triggers are "clicky" it reminds me more of my gaming mouse than a controller, from a sound perspective. Is it a deal breaker? Absolutely not! This is a very nice Joy-con

Edit: Worth the price.
I must have gotten a good pair, they've been used pretty much only in handheld mode so far, but it's been a couple days of heavy play and everything works. My buttons all have the same noisiness, it doesn't feel cheap in my opinion like other reviewers have said, for example it doesn't make clicky stress noises when you squeeze the plastic like most cheap electronics, my vibration also matched each other but I turn that off anyway. The LED lights are cool but does cut about a half hour to an hour off my battery time so I leave them off as well. Last night I tested it and my switch OLED lasted about 5.5 hours using these with the screen at around 60 to 70% brightness, and without rumble and the LED rings. I've noticed in other reviews and YouTube videos for these the quality control stickers are usually different colors, yellow and green, indicating they were checked separately by different employees, mine were both purple with with the same numbers so I think my pair was individually checked by their actual QA department, this is probably not the norm as most factories only QA check about 10% of their production, but I am glad I got lucky.Edit: it's been about a month, theyve had hundreds of hours of play time now, starting to run into some issues. First is disconnecting, it's not that often, sometimes I go all day without it happening, other times it will happen 2 or 3 times within a half hour and not happen again after, not a big deal at all but this is playing handheld as I don't play docked. The D-pad is not working so good, it works but you gotta press it like you mean it for right and down now, again not a huge issue for me personally but it is a bit annoying, especially for things like organizing your pokemon box. I have not updated them yet as it's not a big deal to me, I probably will eventually get annoyed enough to try updating them and I'll edit this with another update if they start getting worse.Edit2: it's been another month and a half, I'm raising the rating up to 4 from 3. I've played through 4 games with them, easily 300 hours if not more, I've had no further issues, the disconnecting issue is still rare, I go days without it happening. I never use the LEDs because they drain battery life faster and I have not updated them yet. The D-pad still sucks but I managed to get through 120 hours of Xenoblade Definitive Edition with it, and that game's battle system requires a good amount of D-pad usage. All in all I think I've about got my money's worth out of them considering they're half the price of OEM joycons, and infinitely more comfortable.Edit3: 6 months later, the connection thing hasn't gotten any worse or better. Buttons are starting to go though, my A button has gone a bit soft to the button press though remains completely functional with no misses. Most annoyingly the R2 button is starting to not work, have to press it a certain way now. Also I discovered after using the turbo, whichever button I used it on would sometimes just go turbo again randomly after turning the function off, using the reset button on the controller fixes it simply though, then just attach the controller again and good to go. For the price being less than half a joycon pair, the issues are still worth it imo, I will be replacing these eventually with their larger version as I found that my hands are deceptively larger than I thought, but I am still very satisfied with the product.

Great Joycon replacements
Firstly, I'd just like to say that I've had my switch for about two weeks and I bought these literally the day after I bought my switch because I knew how uncomfortable the regular joycons are. I have pretty decently sized hands, but not huge. What I like about these:They're very comfortable and even though they're the smaller variant of the BinBoks, (which I didn't know when I bought them) I have no problem with the size. They improve the comfort of the switch significantly and makes it easier to hold. There are also some cool RGB lights on them which as everyone knows gives you an extra performance boost in games (not really). I think the lights give it some nice flare since there's not really any other designs you can get besides white or clear. Also, These have GYRO and rumble still, and can be used wirelessly. They come with a little bridge to connect the two joycons together when you have it docked or when you want it on a stand or something. It isn't the most comfortable in the world but it's still more comfortable than using the default joycons with the little "controller" bridge the switch came with and it works well.HOW TO USE THE LIGHTS: hold the turbo button down on the side you want to change and then press the joystick down to click through the colors. You can change the brightness by HOLDING the joystick button down until you reach the right brightness.I actually went ahead and bought the bigger binboks anyways but I'm still keeping these. I honestly have no issue with the size at all, I just want the bigger ones. These are actually the perfect size in my opinion, and are a good in-between large and small. What I do not like: The joysticks still aren't full size so I'm pretty sure that effects the sensitivity of them. I don't use controllers very often and I'm a PC player primarily, so it might just be that I'm bad at using them, but I find it hard to find the right area to move the joystick to when I want to turn at a medium speed to aim at something. Also, these aren't going to fit In a lot of cases. They add a lot of height to the switch and a little bit of width. Binbok makes their own case though, and if you just want them to fit in a travel case you can take the joycons off and put them in the other pocket (if the case has room for extra accessories).

Not for me
These are pretty nice and they felt great compared to the original switch joy cons. And smaller than my old hori split pad pro too. But they weren’t right for me. This is just my experience but the back buttons (L, ZL, R, ZR) and the +/- buttons were clicking quite loud. Not sure if that’s how every one will be or if it was just my set. I often play switch at night in bed and these repeated button clicks actually woke up my gf next to me. Just my experience but they weren’t for me

What a Joy(con)
These are easily the best joycons I own and I own alot. Perfect size and RGB lighting just makes them even more awesome. Definitely recommend these bad boys.

Fantastic Alternative, Janky Execution
Update: Binbok Customer Service fixed my issue. The controllers themselves have a nice weight to them and the textured backs feel nice enough, although they can get slippery over a long gaming session. The triggers and shoulders are VERY clicks and the face buttons are a little mushy but not awful, they almost feel like you’re playing with an old controller. Ergonomically, they’re a better fit for a medium/smaller hand over some other bulky 3rd party controllers and the original JoyCons. The RGB is a nice touch and looks decent, no “true” rainbow effect though, just a static wheel of colours. My biggest issue is the quality control and usability. They would occasionally disconnect in handheld-mode, but not in a way that I would have to remove them and reattach, I would simply have to hit “A” to connect again. The worst of it though is that I’ve had these for less than 12hrs and after noticing really large deadzones in the analog sticks, I updated the controllers using their PC software. After decoding their unclear instructions, they updated, and although the deadzones seem okay, my “+” button no longer works. On top of that, the vibration in my left controller is so soft I barely notice it and my right controller has vibration so strong it could wake the dead. Again, I attempted to decode the instructions to adjust the vibration and it did absolutely nothing. Their software also doesn’t allow you to revert to an older update or change what firmware the controllers have in case there’s an issue.I’ve contacted Binbok in hopes of getting a replacement set. Might be a matter of returning and hoping for a better pair. They got back to me and, after trying a few different versions of the software for the controllers, all the buttons work perfectly fine and the vibration issues are resolved.

Spectacular joycon alternative!
These controllers hit just about every tick box for features and performance that I was looking for in a joycon alternative. I bought these after being disappointed by the much talked about Hori split pad pro (which I returned) and have been very happy with in the few weeks I've been using these (heavily).Going to list out my thoughts in point form to make it easier for you.+ Feels great in your hands as it's got a nice grip texture on the back handles. Bigger than the joycons, smaller than a Hori pad. Premium build.+ Joysticks feel all around solid. Quality improvement over joycons, a bit smaller than a regular gaming controller.+ All buttons accounted for and feel decent. Dpad is not just separate buttons!+ Easily customizable led circles around joysticks (multiple colors, rainbow, pulsating, off completely), remappable buttons and rumble (can adjust intensity or turn off) all done from controllers.+ Sits flush with switch screen. (Love this)+ Doesn't seem to affect battery much more than joycons. Charges with switch when docked and connected (or via USBC when not docked).+ Disconnects physically from system to become wireless and has bridge to make more controller like when not on switch system. This kicked butt as it instantly gave me a 2nd controller for mp.- Rumble is strong. Can adjust intensity, but I turned it off (I'm not much for rumble on the switch anyways). Just a heads up that it feels a bit different than the regular joycons.- Face buttons (a,b,x,y) are a little softer than joycons. Not an issue but worth mentioning.- No amiibo support (not a kicker for me, but thought I'd mention it).

Cool design, but not very durable
Very comfortable, I loved it, but it’s not very durable. The ZR button got unresponsive and one of the joysticks has a small drift. Haven’t had them for a full year and I’m not that much of an heavy gamer.
