I had realistic looking play money when I was a child and it got an amazing amount of use in my play by myself and with my friends. So when it came time to pick a Christmas present for my 3 year old cousin who is very creative and advanced for her age, it came to me that she was probably close to the age of wanting to start playing "store" and the like. So I set out to find her some Canadian play money. I found set after set of American money but only 2 sets of Canadian money. Learning Resources won out because of their inclusion of $1 and $2 coins and the more realistic styling in the bills and coins.I was very happy when I received this set. There are a LOT of bills and coins included - plenty for playing store or use in learning to count money and make change. All of the Canadian side of my family loved my cousin's gift and it was passed around on Christmas for everyone to look over. I've heard a couple of times since how much my little cousin loves her money. It fits well in her play cash register she already had and she has gotten hours of imaginative play already out of her new "store" and enjoys offering money to her parents and grandparents when they are heading out to the real store. A hit all the way around.;

This play money is awesome! I bought it to go with the Zillionz talking cash register and it fits perfectly! It is perfect for my 6 year old who is in grade one, just learning money concepts. She loves to play store with it when her friends come over.

My little hyperlexia kiddo wanted Canadian money and it has been hard to find any here in Oklahoma. This set looks real and has bills, Loonies and Toonies! My son just loves everything about this set and I am a very pleased mama.

It has the newer Canadian bills, and no pennies- as we currently do not use pennies in Canada. It definitely is updated. Great quality and price. Cheaper here than in Canada.

This is fine for one child but it doesn’t work well in a classroom setting. Not enough pieces. Also, there aren’t enough compartments for all the money.
