So far I have used this for hooking my iPad up to a projector. It worked perfectly. Just plug and play through the HDMI port. Hoping to try out the USB on my MIDI interface one evening and record some music with the iPad. If it works well for that too then I’ll be in heaven.

Great value, slightly overpriced, but worth it. Love the fact that I can use my LAN internet connection with my Apple products. Can stream, connect keyboards or mouse, connect HDMI and charge all at the same time! Just wish it had an auxiliary jack included so I can hook up earphones or a speaker.

I have bought four of these particular lightning-based port replicator’s for my wife’s and myself iPhones. The two that I had previous bought both stopped working, and while I was disappointed, I still needed Ethernet access for my iPhone. I thought perhaps I’d damage them myself. I bought two more and they were working for about 24 hours when my iPhone reported that the “accessory does not work with this iPhone”. I am immediately returning these and moving on to other means even if that means having to buy the Belken accessory that cost $99. Apparently Apple has change something within their system to block these accessories.

Working remotely requires a lot of flexibility and sometimes WiFi / cell signals are not sufficient. This allows having a wired connection to my iPhone or iPad and makes all the difference.

I am certain this is a case of operator error but in my simple mind I was needing a tool to link my camera to my iPad so I can download or transfer my pics. Seemed simple....but did not work. That was the whole purpose of the purchase. Does not mean it is not a good product for the price, it just means for my intended purpose it does not work. My camera has Bluetooth so I was able to move the pics over to my app that way but wireless connection is of course required which I thought this gadget would solve the scenario of not having wireless available.

I have used this product for well over a few months logging many hours. I really enjoy using this product. I am using it to connect my iPhone to my TV to use as a separate computer from my main PC. I have it hooked up to a wireless keyboard and mouse, which works flawlessly. You can also insert an ethernet cable, which is great if you are trying to live stream games or whatever. My only gripes are that very seldomly, I have to unplug and reinsert the HDMI cable (which really isn't a big deal, just an annoyance), and the product will get hot if used to charge your device. Also, I have several "new" HDMI cables that I have used to test the HDMI issue. Overall, the quality of the product is great, I give it 4.5 stars. The price point is good. It is very easy to use; plug and play. There is no need to install any type of software or other things to fool around with to get this going out of the box. I hope this review helps you in your decision making process.

I have purchased two of these. This last one does not even last 1 month, and it would not connect to ethernet.. very frustrating.

I used this for my iPad and my iPhone 6s. I was hoping to stream Apple TV over the RJ45 internet connection and out the HDMI port. The internet port worked, but every time the device went to sleep I had to unplug and plug it in again. The HDMI doesn't work with Apple TV because of HDCP copy protection, which this device doesn't support and is clearly stated in the description details. I just didn't do the research ahead of time to know that Apple TV used HDCP. The HDMI works fine with non-HDCP programs.

El artículo llego muy pronto y en buen estado.Solo como nota, esperaba poder hacer dos cosas simultáneamente pero no es posible. No es posible hacer transmisiones usando Google Meet o Microsoft Teams y al mismo tiempo realizar una presentación en proyector con entrada ya sea HDMI o VGA.
