I would have given more stars if I had the opportunity to test more thoroughly. I found it to be as advertised it expands and collapses easily which is an asset on a kayak,also the hook didn't tangle in the net. I'll further review if I have a negative experience when I catch more fish

This net makes catch and release fishing a breeze. Get the fish in the net, pop the hook(s) out, put the fish back in the water, and get back to fishing. Easy. Nothing gets tangled in it, period. I primarily fish from the shore, and this net is the perfect size for that style of fishing. As other reviewers have noted, this net is a little on the heavy side, but I believe that to be a testament to its quality. The weight of the net does not hinder its usability.

My husband needed this for his boat. He was very surprised on Christmas Eve. He couldn't get in the fast enough!

Bought this smaller version for using on my kayak. Now we use it everywhere. I am going to buy a larger one for fishing up in Canada where the northern pike can be in the high 40's (inches). Hopefully the larger net can handle the weight of such a fish. I recommend with only the qualification that you pay attention to the weight limit chart, based on the amount of extension you are using.

They say you get the 29 - 60 inch handle. You DO NOT. You get the little 18 - 36 handle. Getting tired of all the misleading adds on here.

This thing is awesome. I can't believe I've fished for 35 years without one. It extends very easy, floats and hooks don't get tangled in it. I'd give it more stars if it was possisble. Buy with confidence as it works better than you could guess:)

I have the rubber net, great while using treble hook, hook doesn't hang up in net very often. I've landed 23 plus inch redfish and large bowfin with no problem. I can keep it fairly compact or expand it and place on my bow hatch. Go with the rubber, it's well worth the extra money.

Heavy duty quality but lightweight and easy to transport. The collapsable / telescoping feature is perfect for attaching and carrying on my fishing rod bag and is ideal for landing fish from shore or a boat. Extending the net’s pole is smooth and easy. Quite pleased with this product!

What's not to like about this amazing net. Good size, not that heavy.

My son is 25 years old and use it for northen pikes, bass and even strip bass.
