Edit after a few months.I was very satisfied the first week or so. That is when the bulbs lost the connection to Alexa. I manually reset each bulb, took about 40 minutes for the 8 bulbs. Connection lasted less than a week. After several conversations with Sengled Tech Support, the issue is with Alexa, NOT the Sengled bulb. Solution is to shut down the Echo and or Dot for a few minutes. When powered back on, the bulbs are connected again.Not ideal, but workable. I really do the like the control over each light.I did not look at the user reviews before I ordered eight Sengled Smart Bulbs. I am glad I did not. All of the reviews at the top indicate problems with install and set up. I had all eight bulbs set up in less than 30 minutes. First register and connect to Sengled Home on your phone, enable the skill in Alexa, and screw them in, name them when recognized, and thats it. I do have a strong and fast network connection, I'm sure that helps. The 5000K, 60W equivalent light is very clean and bright. I will purchase more when needed.EDIT: A week later, I have added two more Sengled bulbs to my TV viewing room. Installed easy and they work great. Highly reccomended.

Was hoping these would work with the Alexa. They keep losing connection and I never had this pro lem with the Phillips brand. I don't think they are worth the $$ or time.

I needed this to control light in my house. The attraction was that the bulb sync with my alexa seamlessly. It also respond to voice command effortlessly. Once installed, you can also control it from your phone. It is a great product and I recommend it

I enjoy the leisure of not having to get up to turn the lamp or the ceiling light off after I have gotten into bed however there is a lag in the response to the commands. The lights did not work well with the NetGear Night Hawk router that I had they were always dropping signal when connected to it. The brightness is not what I expected however I have had worse bulbs. For the amount that I paid to replace all the bulbs in my home I'm satisfied with them just wish they didn't lag when the commands are given. Example: Alexa turn office light on takes about 5 seconds to respond and turn on and the same for the off.

These make life easier especially when hands are full and dark in home

From day 1 we have had major problems with this "effortless" light bulb. First thing is that after using the Alexa app and selecting Sengled from the list and choosing bluetooth as the way to connect the light bulbs become unresponsive. I looked to see which Echo devices the lights connected to and found it to be random throughout the house. For example 1 bulb would be connected to the main bedroom which is the farthest room away from the bulb and the bulb next to it will have connected to the kitchen. I unplugged every Echo device in my house except for the device I wanted the bulbs to be connected with. I set up each room with just 1 Echo and only the lights I was actually connecting. This took me about an hour for 10 bulbs. As soon as I was done I plugged in all the Echos and lights and my Alexa app still said unresponsive. These bulbs are trash.

These smart bulbs are MUCH easier to install than the previous brand I used. All I had to do was put the bulbs in and turn the lights on. They automatically synced with my alexa devices. No need to download an app for sengled. The bulbs are managed directly through the alexa app. Took less than 5 min to set up. Light is nice and bright!

UPDATE 2…Sengled do better!!! It’s great these have 22 years of life, but what good is the time when they unpair and refuse to repair. Apparently theses bulbs do not work with 5G. Can’t connect to the Sengled app due to no connection to the internet. Got Xfinity to give me a 2.4G line and they still will not connect. I have these bulbs in all my table lamps and to go back to turning on manually is a disappointment. UPDATE YET AGAIN... All lights are now connected and working. Not sure what happened, but I loaded the app again, set up the lights in groups and they are working. UPDATED: ALL OF THE SUDDEN NO LIGHTS ARE CONNECTED. I have tried all the reconnection actions and nothing is working. Time to make a call to see if I can get replacements with a different brand or a refund! THE LIGHTS ARE FRUSTRATING. When I first got my free bulb with a new dot I installed the bulb before the dot. The bulb it would not connect to my older Alexa. However, once we hooked up the new dot and started messing with the app they began working. So I ordered a 4 pack of bulbs with an additional dot because I wanted to stay with the same brand bulbs. I installed all the bulbs, all connected and were diming fine. Then I installed the new dot and all the lights stopped connecting with a message "devise is unresponsive" on the app and Alexa kept saying "lights not responding", even though they were turning on and off on command. After continued receiving "the lights are not responding" after the lights had been turned on by Alexa and me screaming (I'm not sure why I scream at a machine) the lights are ON stop telling me they are not! Today as I was typing this I checked the app and all seems fixed, with the exception of one light I have not had on recently. So if you experience this... try yelling the lights are on stop telling me they are not. LOL I have zero idea why the bulbs started working, but they are. I like the bulbs bright white light, I like the dimming feature. The set up and trouble connecting is why these bulbs got a 2. Here is hoping they continue working.

Casi un año funcionaron a la perfección. De repente un día llegué a la casa y no estaban prendidos. Desde entonces no he podido configurarlos, hablo a soporte de Amazon y no me contestan (como que se corta la llamada) la bocina Alexa no los detecta, dice que no hay dispositivos. Traté con la aplicación de la marca (Sengled) y tampoco. Se han convertido en focos comunes y corrientes que hay que manejar manualmente. Fui feliz mientras funcionaron.

Excelente muy fácil de sincronizar, no como otros dispositivos similares que requieren muchos pasos para que funcionen.No se desincronizan cuando se va el Internet o la luz.Tengo otros de otras marcas y es un horrorFunciona a la perfección con alexa
